Qazi's performance last gala....

First some background info.

Everyone in my family used to think Qazi sucked bigtime as a singer-his voice was horrible & he simply cant sing.I was the only one who supported him.I used to tell them that he sings well but at times falters-You should have seen his yeh tara woh tara performance. But they were not convinced.Today I had an iftaar party i put FG on record.While at our relatives home (who were watching KBC) 😕 😡 but in the end they switched to FG & results were announced & everyone was like....😕 😕 since we hadnt seen how he sang(I knew he did well from this forum,they didnt) So they thought it was some conspiracy-they did it because they wanted to see who is more popular of the other 3(by votes) etc...I tried to convince them otherwise but failed.

We reached home & I played the cassette-after some avg performances by RR & Rex-came Qazi's turn.His entry...starts to sing.....My mom & sis are like: 😕 😕 what the....OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Their jaws hit the floor-My mom was literally screaming like people do in cinema frotn bench. 😕. I literally enjoyed every bit of it.I had read hear he was good-but you guys got it wrong.He was unbelievable.He was simply the BEST.He sang better than the original singer & acted it out better than Devgan-His presence,persona & ofcourse voice was mindblowing.

my dad was a Rex fan & now he has converted. 😕 My whole family has gone crazy. 😕

Then came his Rukja o Dil Diwane & my sis went crazy...😕 I am going to watch it again-because I havent enjoyed any piece of television programme this much ever before.

Its like a guy from among us..an avg guy..who tried failed,tried again failed again,tried once more failed once more but kept trying,never lost the spirit,never cried except in the beginning & finally he made it he made it when it mattered.He hit a six of the last ball. 👍🏼

Gahfoor bhai !! hurrah !! even i feel happy reading ur story 👏 qazi's amazing !! just imagine what he ' ll be in a few years time with some training n experience when hes like that now. ppl who critisise him r only doing that cos he started out bad . if they actually compare what he is now to the others they shud have another impression. he 's an awesome singer !!

I am sorry, but what was so special about Ruk Jaa.... 😕

Well, my mom who was his fan after YEH TARA, has started disliking him after I replayed (recorded most of the shows) many of his performances...lolzzz....

There are two ends to a spectrum!!!! 😊

Exactly. He started on very low notes on Ruk Jaa o Dil Diwane - and then lost the steam and faltered in the middle of the song. That is not how the original song was sung. So I don't get it as to what was so special about this song. Even the performance was overall pretty average.
