Arre yaar,if it was just for singing talent,they would have done this in radio...why use television...singing,good looks,performance counts.Arpita does sing,but i could never see her interacting with audience,,even if she does,it doesnt look sincere at all.i can understand her being frnak to qazi,but i think she should be more friendly towards the public...having a background on psycholgy,and from her body language i have never got good opinion about Arpita...she is always interested in her and not at all woriied about others..the more u talk about others,it shows your inner fear,frustration.

hey guys did u notice one bad thing about papita she only sings one song when she is performing out that is "barsa ja e sawan baras ja"... even in dandia and in delhi and when ever asked to sing ... i guess she thinks she sings that best ... but ask me i feel like throwing my tv out of my house when i hear that

FG is about the total package - singing as well as performance. If it was a purely singing competition, Arijit, Kirti and a few others are in leagues beyond the rest.

As for Arpita being the winner of SaReGaMaPa - No offence, but it seems like she got a bit rusty since that competition since she's landed in the danger zone. Also, since SaReGaMaPa is held at such high acclaim, what's she doing in another singing competition anyways? Shouldn't she have been working on, or cut an album by now?

Also, please elaborate on how Qazi and Ruprekha are more arrogant than Arpita.

Julian, excellent post. VEry thoughtful, very well put, very entertaining (specially your doubts about fieldmouse being Arpita's Mom- good thought) But well I would also like to congratulate Field Mouse because he too had some valid points but he went overboard in prooving those points (specially that Karma stuff was just too much)

Anyways, to sum it all up. I feel really sorry for Arpita ( or papita ) beacuse she herself does not know why people love to hate her. She is a a very very level-headed and mature person, she is almost everything what fielsmouse says (ALMOST0ST).

I think the only problem with her that she cant think beyond I, me and myself. Poor girl, she is so much lost in just herself, she cant even appreciate the goodness in others. Maybe, she is not all that bad - but on Famegurukul she appears to be SELFISH. I think its her bad luck that all the people who were more self-centered and selfish have already been voted out. Out of the 4 people left, she appears to be the meanest of all and are anti-qazi stand is making things difficult for her.

Also she comes across as too ambitious, which makes her look like an opportunist or as julian said 2 sided personality, a dishonest person.

I sincerely feel bad for Amrita because she is trying sooooo hard, and must be feeling so frustrated right now. She is a strong person.... but maybe she is the most self centered person among her 3 other compititors. She sis not all that bad, but others byy far are more 'humane' than her.

She used to be my favourite contestants, not anymore....
