Nothing wrong with stating your thoughts, however when making a wild statement like "Sony goofed up" is pretty ridiculous since the objective of the show is not supposed to be like the Idol series.

Goof up" pertains to the manner of selection adopted at each stage within the programme. In that context the two programmes are defintely comparable as are ranges and apples coz when u go fruit shopping again it is a matter of individual liking whether u want to go for a sweet fruit or a relatively sweet fruit...

She basically has an attitude problem and a big ego and cannot accept criticism or faliure. Little she realises that people will think of her as a coward and not courageous for quitting so ungracefully. She could have played it by the rules even though her chances are less otherwise what is the point of the whole game.

And if this if a forum for stating opinion then I do feel that Sony has visibly goofed up in the manner it has structured the programme right from the inception. Again a matter of opinion..

Sure you can compare oranges to apples but you can't call apples stupid because they lack the structure/taste/texture of oranges.

The same way you were comparing FG & Idol - Idol's structure is totally different from FG's - they are both unique entities with a purpose..nobody goofed up while creating each unique entity as they function the way they were made to.

Why is the structure goofed up? Because contestants and 'friends' have to vote against each other to stay alive in the game? Because the faculty sometimes displays favouritism towards certain individuals? Because the judges also so some partiality towards certain individuals? Because the faculty & judges don't see eye to eye most of the time?

What exactly is 'goofed up' from your opinion?

nobody is debating that the structures of these two programmes is different - One is just appreciaitng a better or more superior structure which leads to better selection of quality and focusses on ability rather than superfluous parameters.

I am not saying that peripheral things do not count in reaching a final assesment but it is just how much weightage needs to be awarded to peripheral texture and how much to the subterranean texture.

Anyhows I would love to chat further but need to get off the discussion as I have to cook dinner.

i think one should have spirit to fight and never give up and there should be contract not to leave and sony is entertaining us thats why this show is there so fg people have to stay there until end.
