Over the past few days I've noticed that this new BP is basically like the older inspectors.

Hanuman Prasad - He eats paan like HP, tries to get away from CC like HP, and is always trying to get away from work. His reality is something else, but he acts like something else. That's how HP was.
Raj Aryan - However, like Raj Aryan he is seen to be quite funny and sweet.
Bajrang Pandey - Chews paan. Loves CC, but tries to stay away from her. Helps in cases and acts along with CC often.

Has anyone else noticed these things?

Yes, I think you are quite right. But more than others, BP reminds me of HPP the most. But with due respect to all the male inspectors of the show, I personally feel that Hanuman Prasad Pandey was the best. Shiv Pandit matched Kavita's comic timing perfectly and he was such a breath of fresh air. Shame he left the show.

I actually liked Bajrang Pandey a lot better. HPP was very laid-back and after a point everything he did was the same. But BP always gave us something new to see.

Though Shiv Pandit was really great, I liked Aamir Ali a lot better.

Even I liked Amir Aii better. He instantly connected with the show and his expressions and dialogue delivery was excellent. I think TRP were also higher during his period.

About the new guy, I am not so happy with him. Right now it is 50-50.
