Agreed that anjali was overcome with emotions...she was sad...but why it must always be so that aakash is the understanding one...even she must behave in a matured manner...
she was indirectly insulting aakash by saying he is not capable, she is better than him...agreed that she was top in NIM...but hello, one does not rant his deeds like this in front of all...that makes her sound full of herself
she was hurt bcoz of male-female discrimination...but aakash was only trying to console her, and she barked on him like i dont want anything in begging...

however angry aakash was, he always kept his calm in front of anjali and never took his anger on her
but anjali accused aakash as if its his fault...then she says so easily, " i dont mean to hurt u"...first hurt someone and then say sorry...its so easy...but u cant take back what u have said just by saying sorry...

and the reason col didn't choose her bcoz its a suicide mission...so there is also discrimination...so according to col, its ok if aakash and arjun dies...but anjali should live?!
