I thought I was done with Indian TV shows! but Everest changed my mind.
This is my first post on the forum and I hope to make many more :)
Starting with Today's episode, it was Beyond Beautiful.
Akash and Shikha Ma strike a chord. My heart just melts whenever they come onscreen. Akash's love for his friends mom is just very unique, She is his mom too and Eversince Gaurav passed away in that accident, their bond has only strengthened. It's just so natural, the way it translates on our screen. Both the actors do an amazing job in portraying this bond of love. I simply LOVE them. Akash takes care of Shikha just the way Gaurav would have. Well-written scenes, Akash scolding her for hiding things from him, Shikha Ma's tears, Akash assuring her he would get her treatment done, Shikha's concern with him going to everest, Akash saying hs vertigo was over, while he knows it hasn't, and on being questioned that slight humor. I think Akash's best side comes to the fore when he is with Shikha Ma.
We bid Goodbye to NIM, I am surely going to miss them, how I wish we would have more of the training, left with amazing characters whom we might not see again Siraj, Ruth, Mansi, Raman, Vicky n others. It felt nice to see them all click Pictures, share a few warm smiles and hugs. Pari, Kabir, Sangi, Yohaan everything ended on such a happy note. Loved it :')
The surprise for the day has to be Arjun, kind words to Nirmal and the concern for Akash clearly shows us that deep down Arjun has good interests in mind for people and does appreciate them. His conversation with Roongta in favor of Akash 'his friends mom is ill' or just the way he wanted to speak to Akash as Nikita took him away for pics speaks a lot. Sahil did really well in that scene 👏
I remember he stated in one of the episodes that he finds it hard to trust people. I somehow end up finding him the most Interesting of the Lot, this guy has many layers to himself. He is a good guy, I think he is just more practical in his approach and doesn't ride on emotions like Anjali and Akash do.
It's remarkable the way Shamata projects herself, at times she is the tough nut riding with ambition, and then she is Anjali, I like the balance in her character she is not a confused personality for us as a viewer, she isn't a tomboy thank Goodness ! She has her moments. Just the way she entered home, that's a girl returning to her family. I Love the way she does it.
Lastly Who says these guys aren't good actors !? Psshhtt Way better than leads of any other show! Fab as Newcomers. Hats Off to the makers, each episode has something to offer. Remarkable. 👏
