Step 1 Make CC - Radhika

Step 2 - List the Vyasas and make an ad for the open positions - Brishti or Urmila? I think you guys frequent the and Writers' forums and the MB forum. I haven't posted in the MB forum in a long time except for starting trouble😆 Amrita, you absolutely can be Panchali. But remember, Vaishampayana is going to have her hands full checking citations and verifying authenticity and keeping control of EVERY VYASA😆

Step 3 Rules -

No miracles or magic
Stick to the chronology of events, except as flashbacks or mentions. But I think we can perhaps show 2 things simultaneously. For ex, Shalwa and DS happened at the same time and we dont have to have G narrate it. The same for events in the war.
Narrate your character's POV, try not to repeat the same events except as mentions, or it gets boring
Narration has to have some basis in some version or at least some logic behind the deduction. Unfortunately that means I cannot actually make KaLi into siblings😆 but I will do my best to throw doubt.
No folk tales
Please give link for source, so we can substantiate our claims
Vaishampayana gets to veto, but her veto can be overridden by a majority vote from the Vyasas
Ganesh will collect accumulated results of each section and post them up front. Ms Ganesh, please add links to your compilations
I would like us to do the work on the story via the CC, so others can see our thought process. For ex, Brishti and I are going to have to write quite a bit together. I have an idea for KP and what happened, so I would like us to discuss it openly. This way if others have objections, they can raise it before we finalize.
I have no problem with chit-chatting, if others are OK with it
If others want to join later on, we can always find some room for them. But recommend we keep Amrita and Radhika as the bosses to decide this
BIG QUESTION - if we do this in CC or Writers' Corner, is there some legal protection for our IP? Not that we are anywhere near that caliber, but I would hate to have our creativity stolen no matter how negligible

Please feel free to add or subtract

Step 4 - Decide a starting point and end point. I suggest we start with the birth of the original Vyasa and end with the war and may be add the end of their lives as an epilogue. Because, I can guarantee that even we will get bored with the other stories in the beginning and end😆

Step 5 - Decide who will write the other stories and characters. For ex, I can start the Satyavati story but someone has to take up Shantanu/Bheeshma and continue with it.

Step 6 - START😆

Ok...let Adi Shakti or Shyam Bhai have Draupadi...

As for Karna...since Jamy n Diala are not available for it, I think it should go to either Watcher or Vrish...

He was very much a part, and he thought himself 'eligible' enough to get the knowledge of Brahmastra and also the motive behind it was to kill Arjuna. (Apparently for no reason).

Continued fighting after krishna ji's reminded karna of his mistakes

Karna making Arjuna unconscious is not a part of CE so i am going to ignore this for now

My understanding is that Karna only went to extricate his chariot when he thought Arjuna was distracted

My understanding on the basis of CE is this

After Krishna ji reminds Karna of his mistakes Karna invokes Brahamastra and showers several arrows on Arjuna and then goes to extricate his chariot.Meanwhile Arjuna counters all of Karna's weapons

In other words when arjuna is countering Karna's weapons it is then that Karna is busy taking out his chariot wheel

Then Arjuna releases a fire astra which karna counters with varuna astra and then karna creates clouds all around arjuna.Then goes to take out his chariot wheel again.While karna is doing this arjuna dispels all clouds and fires the anjalika weapon which kills karna

The main question here is that why didn't karna go on another chariot like he had done in previous occasions?it could be possible that by that time since many warriors had already died there weren't many chariots around on which he could go
