nupur, suhasini and Sindoora put haldi on antara and then suman is asked to put haldi, as she's putting it on, Manan in saree with ghoonghat so you can't see its him and asks suman to now allow the other women put haldi on antara. nupur says she didn't recognise these women and ranveer jumps in saying manan is with him.

Manan puts haldi and antara tries to look under the ghoonghat to see who it is. Sanjana comes and puts haldi on antara and then dadisa says its suman's turn. Suman sits down and dadi asks kalawati to put haldi on suman but kalawati gently turns her down saying she may have agreed to get her daughter in law married to ranveer but it is not possible for her to put haldi on suman and do her bidaai as a mother would do. dadisa understands her feelings and asks sindoora to put haldi on suman.

just then ranveer dressed in a saree comes and drags sonali away asking her to set his pallu straight. everyone laughs, and sindoora puts haldi on suman looking very unhappy. ranveer comes running and says he wants to put haldi on, nupur refuses saying the family women haven't finished putting haldi on suman hence the other women should wait. But dadisa says its ok and ranveer goes ahead and puts haldi on suman. As ranveer moves to put haldi on the face, suman says ranveer. Dadisa says lo ab ye bhi shuru ho gayi, it seems antara must have said manan's name too but kept quiet that the woman in saree was manan. dadisa says they may be modern girls, but addressing their husbands by their names is not a tradition in the mittal house (doesn't sindoora address akash by his name so where did the tradition go then?). everyone laughs. Ranveer blesses suman saying she's very beautiful and may her husband shower her with happiness. Suman smiles and ranveer happily leaves.

kalavati denying to do suman's haldi was expected but her saying it out openly that she wont do it for suman is her daughter-in-law... ouch

I think the family understand this wasn't exactly an easy decision to make for her - she's essentially allowing another man to take her son's place in suman and veer's life in her opinion which isn't easy for any mother to accept. I wonder what ranveer's reaction to this will be...??
