Episode starts with
Suman puts up food on table. Dadi ji asks about Niharika and she arrives with Sindoora. Dadi ji asks her what she cooked. Sindoora thinks what Niharika cooked after all her help. Dadi ji tastes niharika's dish first and it gets stuck in her throat.
Then dadi ji is impressed with food served in clay pot. She tastes sanjana's gatte ki sabji and Nupur hopes that her efforts of adding too much chili pays off and marriage gets called off. Dadi ji passes the pot to Nupur and she is surprised to find it tasty. Dadi ji tastes antara's kaddi and that is tasty as well. Dadi ji declares them winners.
Suman asks them to touch dadi ji's feet and take blessing. Ranveer stops and informs everyone about suman's helping them. Dadi ji questions and suman admits. Nupur says how we would know then whether Sanjana and Antara even know cooking. Ranveer says they do and adds that suman only helped but most cooking was done by them. Ranveer says suman is true winner.
Nupur calls it unfair to Niharika who may have not have cooked good food but she did it all by herself. Then Ranveer questions Niharika if there is something she want to tell. Niharika acts all "nothing to tell" but Ranveer informs that she was taking help by excuse of listening to music. Niharika fumbles and Sindoora says Niharika shouldn't have done that and should say her sorry. Sindoora clearly leaves the part that she was on the other end of the phone. Ranveer looks at his mom for making up a lie to save herself. Niharika says her sorry.
Dadi ji calls suman and rewards her with bangles. Dadi ji adds that as punishment, Suman, Sanjana and Antara will now on have to feed whole family with tasty food cooked in clay pots. Sahil and Nupur are dis-hearted as the effort to have the wedding called off failed. Ranveer is impressed with suman even further.
Everyone joins the dining table and suman serves food to everyone. Devraj praises the food and calls suman as a person filled with great qualities. Other family members agree. Ranveer feels that Niharika even being part of the family is busy munching food while suman being a guest is still serving food to everyone.
Devraj enquires Niharika what her plans are. Niharika narrates how her father commented that she is just sitting at home. So she went online and simply filled MBA form from MSI College. She added that she has no intent of working in future. Sindoora says that Niharika don't need to work as she is the daughter of rich man. Ranveer questions niharika why even do it?
Devraj asks suman the same question and she replies that it is kalavati's wishes and support that she is doing MBA. All suman wants is to finish MBA and work so she can raise her son well and support her family. Devraj praises the kalavati's support for suman and suman's honesty, dedication and hard working nature. Devraj offers suman a job in his company as soon as she finishes her MBA. Everyone is so happy for suman including Sanjana and Antara.
Ranveer again thinks that suman and Niharika are very much different and that suman does everything to keep people happy. He concludes that suman is that thread that binds a family with love and care.
Back at parmaar residence, Veer is sitting by the window looking outside at the sky. Suman comes looking for him and asks what he is looking at. Veer replies he is looking at the stars as suman once told him that his father has become a star. Veer really missed his father and wants him to come to him. Suman takes him in her arms and tells him that his father wouldn't like that he is missing him feeling all so sad. Veer asks how fathers are and what they do. Suman tells him that fathers love their kids, play with them, bring them sweets, and take them out to places... and all that. Veer asks that his father never did those things does that mean he didn't love him. Suman replies that veer's father loved him very much when veer was little and now too he loves him. Veer says that he wish his father would come to them and suman says there is an easy way. She says that his father will come to visit him in his dreams.
Suman thinks to herself that veer is too young to understand it all but someday when he is grown up he will understand it. She stares at the sky.
Ranveer is also on roof staring at the sky. His mind playing back all the old memories with veer and what he said about his mother and her teachings. He thinks of the evening when he found out that suman was veer's mother. Then he thinks how she makes his family happy.

Precap:
Ranveer says to veer that they can do lot of fun stuff together, like visiting places, playing together, eating favourite food... Veer then expresses his wish that Ranveer becomes his father. Suman overhears their conversation.
Niharika Sindoora and Ranveer are in the hall. Niharika is talking about going to a party with Ranveer when chaman ji accidentally drops shake on niharika's dress. Niharika yells at chaman ji and Ranveer scolds her back for talking to him like that when none of the family members ever talked to him like that. Sindoora says how will the stain wash away and Ranveer thinks. Suman comes and replies that by lemon it can be easily removed. Everyone looks at suman who is standing there.
