episode starts with

sindoora threatens suman that if she listens to nupur and tries to find a girl for ranveer, sindoora will cancel sanjana and antara's marriage with sahil and manan. suman is hurt by sindoora's words and leaves mittal house.
as suman is leaving, ranveer sees and calls out to her but suman leaves without stopping. ranveer wonders why suman came and didnt stop when he called her. nupur is sitting in hall chanting when ranveer comes inside and inquires from sindoora why suman came. sindoora says she was out for walk and didnt see suman. sindoora asks nupur who lies as well hat suman came to get list of items for "shagun". ranveer thinks maybe suman didnt hear him, thats why she didnt stop.

suman reaches home and is teary. kalavati inquires and suman tells her everything. kalavati is surprised to hear what sindoora said and advices suman to listen to what sindoora asks as she is the one who helped fix these marriage. kalavati consols suman.

ranveer is in his room when sindoora comes and says she has a surprise. ranveer asks what is occation but sindoora insists on showing it to him. sindoora blindfolds ranveer and takes him to the hall. when she removes blindfold, everyone says surprise. ranveer is happy to see niharika and her parents. he greets them. sindoora says that friendship is important than love between a couple and thats why she picked niharika to be his life partner. ranveer says that they are just good friends but sindoora reasons and makes him agree. ranveer niharika receives everyones blessings and congratulations. everyone is happy except nupur. aakash says that this was sindoora's choice and congratulates him. ranveer looks at sindoora and rest of his family, everyone is happy but ranveer feels something is amiss.

ranveer and manan reach outside suman's house. manan brought sweets as excuse to meet antara and ranveer asks him to go ahead alone. ranveer is afraid if this time something goes wrong then suman will surely beat them. manan says he is at his in-law's home and not police station, so why would anyone ask questions as to the purpose of this visit and goes ahead alone.
veer and antara are watching horror movie. antara is hiding behind veer. she jumps when doorbell rings. veer tells her there is no ghost, just the doorbell. antara opens the door and sees manan and yells. manan says maybe he came at wrong time and starts to leave when antara opens door again and stops him. antara says that she only had herbal facepack on her face and didnt want him to see her like this. manan says she looks prety like this. suman comes and turns off tv. she sees manan and invites him inside as well as scold antara for keeping him standing outside. veer asks in krish uncle is here and manan asks who? suman tells him ranveer is krish uncle. veer asks permission to go meet him and suman lets him.

manan gives sweet's box to suman who asks for what? manan thinks a moment and says that ranveer's marriage is fixed with niharika and asks her to go wish ranveer herself. suman notices antara and manan staring at each other and decides to give them privacy.
ranveer and veer are playing outside when suman comes. suman sends veer inside and talk to ranveer. ranveer is scared that suman is going to yell at him. but he notices her smiling at him so thinks maybe something else. suman congratulates him and he asks for what. suman says for him and niharika's marriage. ranveer says that everyone is happy with this and suman says similar to what sindoora said. suman calls niharika as his true life partner. even ranveer and suman starts to smile looking at each other.

ranveer asks sindoora that he wants to pick his own life partner. sindoora tells him that he has only 6 days to pick someone equal to their status. ranveer finds that meaningless criteria for picking a life partner.

suman asks kalavati to go to mittal house with sanjana and antara.

ranveer is talking to niharika and explaining that money cannot buy happiness. suman who is also standing there looks at him.

why is ranveer so scared of suman...?

hmm nice precap - seems he will write a list of the criteria he wants In his life partner and finds suman fits that picture well... sindoora needs to step back a little - this is Ranveer's life - let him decide... its not like sindoora always had that status - she too was a middle class girl... if she can marry in a rich family, why can't ranveer like his dad marry a middle class girl? sindoora has such double standards - no wonder she and kalavati are friends - both are so alike!

don't think they ever said anything about sindoora belonging to middle class

the show has pretty much no background on any of the characters

which gives them enough blank space to fill as the story calls for it

as to why ranveer is scared

yeh I get that, but in his last meeting with her and their phone conversation she was nothing but understanding...which is why I was thinking why is he so scared... I mean i'd understand if she had bashed him in his last meeting that he was too scared to face her again.

she was kalavati's childhood friend and I doubt if she was a rich girl, she'd be friends with kalavati who belongs to a middle class family... and since we've seen sindoora try to avoid introducing kalavati as her friend to her upper class rich friends, i'm assuming she kinda wants to not only hide that she has a middle class childhood friend, but also that "past" she's come along way from... its my assumption and I could be wrong...
