TV's little prodigy Ulka Gupta aka Manu of Jhansi Ki Rani will continue to entertain the audience for more than 2 months. The producers haven't yet taken any call to take a leap in the show.
We spoke to Ulka Gupta's close source about her continuation in the show...
"She will be shooting for the next two months as her contract will get over by 30th April but as of now, there is no meeting with the producers and the channels. Now they don't want to take any risk for taking the show for a leap because their TRP is good and it has become the no. 3 show now. They might extend her contract for some more months," says the source.
Further her source told us that, "The show exhausts her completely because for her age, it is very challenging and I think they are scared to take the story forward and are sticking to Manu's role, so because of this she can't think about other offers which she is getting, as she had recently gone for the auditions for Dance India Dance little masters for anchoring, so let's see how things are managed for her. But if her contract is not renewed further, then she will take a break for two years because in these years of the gap she will able give her 9th and 10 th exams which are also very important."
We spoke to the producer Abhimanyu Singh about the show's leap and he said, "You don't want Manu to be seen on TV? Audiences are loving her act and we are going according to the audience's wish. About the leap, we are still discussing it with the channel and very soon we will make the decision."
Buzz tells us that TV actress Kritika Sengar will play the grown up Rani Laksmibai.
So don't forget to watch Manu's karnama in Zee TV's Jhansi Ki Rani every Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
