Riya, you are right. It is a common sense that writer's name should be there for the song which is there in the magazine It is writer's fault. Sometimes, it happens that a person is unable to write the song & needs to refer to other songs. However, if it is ditto copy, the author will get upset.

Even in technical writing, it is the same.😊

Not only the original writer, but the magazine editor, the publisher, the paper manufacturing company, even the tree the paper was made from are at fault.😊 But Veerji...and only Veerji is completely blameless in all this.


Honestly, this is the age of internet..couldn't they have just googled the lines, if it was indeed some kind of folk song, then chances are they could have found some info on it. But they just went ahead and used the lines, just like that. This is sheer irresponsibility. How many more songwriters is Ranvi gonna churao from coz of his pea-sized brain?🤪

That is true. Actually, it was Gunjan's work. Ranvi was not ready for taking that. It was the producer who took it forcefully.

Yes, it was Gunjan's idea, but as the musician, Ranvi had the bigger responsibility in making sure that he was not stealing someone's work.

Imagine if it was the other way around, if Ranvi's song was stolen by mistake..then the entire SS family and especially Veera would be furious at the injustice of it all and crying rivers for the tragedy that has befallen Ranvi (who would simply be sitting in a corner with that sulky face that he had while he was in jail).😆 And once again the first guy to be blamed for it all would be Baldev..simply coz he might have been have spotted breathing the same air as the real culprit.🤣
