I think you have misunderstood ratan. She wants rg ti be happy and resigned so her decision wouldn't affect veeba and then cause problems with rg. BUT rg are now fine so veeba relationship no longer matters.

Even Bansuri who always seemed partial to her son and made her daughter's life a living h*ll seems more concerned about her daughter patching up with her husband than Ratan. I mean Bansuri would have never suggested G to compete on Junoon with R right, even if she could?😆
