CHAPTER ONE

The outlines of the houses are becoming clearer and even the leaves on the trees are

looking more green than grey, dawn is here for sure. The sun was slowly peeping

outside. Villagers started with their daily routine work.

SAMPOORAN SINGH HAVELI

7 AM

It was a usual morning in sampooran singns haveli. A lady around 45 yrs was going into

the kitchen for making breakfast. When she heard their landline ringing. She stopped

in her track and went to pick up the call.

9 AM

A girl in her early twenty was sleeping in her room. Her room was painted purple and

her walls were adorned with childhood pictures of her and her family. The room was well

furnished. The pretty girls sleep got disturbed due to knocking of the door. She pouted

and closed her ears with pillow and continued sleeping. She frowned as the knocking got

louder. She got up from her bed still not opening her eyes, opened the door and then

again went to the bed.

At the door, ranvi was standing admiring his sister cute antics. He went and opened the

curtain allowing sun rays to peep inside the room. The girl frowned as her sleep got

disturbed. She woke up rubbing her eyes and yawning.

Veera: Veerji why are you waking me up this early in the morning?

Ranvi: Harey veera please see the clock. Its not early. Its 9 a.m and you are talking as

if i woke up at 4.00 a.m. (ranvi said this with smile adorning his face)

Veera: Harey rabba. Today also i got up late. Bee ji going to kill me. Veerji y didnt

u wake me up early.

(veera said this getting up from the bed and searching for her towel)

Ravvi: Veera dont worry beeji dont know that you are still sleeping. So tension

mat karo. Go and get ready. Come for breakfast soon.

Veera: Thank u so much veerji (she went and hugged her veerji) i dont know what

will i do without you.

Ranvi: I will always be there for u veera. (he caressed her hair)

Then she went to get ready soon. And ranvi went to make some calls regarding

his agricultural work.

IN THE TERRACE

A women in her forties was standing on the terrace looking at nothing in particular.

She was in a deep thinking. An old women entered the terrace and worry caught her

immediately after seeing her daughter in law. She went near her and touched her

shoulder. The women turned and saw her chaiji and gave a weak smile.

Chaiji: Wat happened? U looked worried.

Ratan gave a smile which didnt reach her eyes. But chaiji was smart enough to note it.

Ratan: Nothing chaiji i was just enjoying the fresh air.

Chaiji: you are such a bad liar ratan. (knowing that her daughter in law would not say

the reason for her grief, she changed the topic) Who called early this morning??

Ratan: Vo chaiji... Kalyani taiji called.

Chaiji: kalu called. That too early morning. But y didnt u call me. Is sumthing wrong.

Is she alright?

(As soon she heard that kalyani called early in the morning she asked many

questions with worried expression on her face. She cant see her friend in trouble.)

Ratan: Nai nai chaiji. Dont worry. Everything is fine. She just called to inform

about a happy news.

Chaiji: Happy news. Wat happy news? (chaiji gave a confused look)

Ratan: Vo they are returning back to india. (Ratan replied with plain expression

Chaiji: They... Who... THEY!!!!!

(chaiji looked confused then it striked to her. Se doesnt know whether she shuld

feel happy that finally after many years they are returning to india or feel worried

about their return)

AT DINING TABLE

Chaiji, ratan, ranvi and veera were having breakfast.

Ratan: Veera vo kalyani chaiji called, she asked you to come there soon.

Veera: Ok beeji. I will go there after having my breakfast. But what so important

she called this early.

Chaiji: Oiyee veera. It is so important for you because your lovely friend baldev is

coming back to india. (said chaiji chuckling knowing well about the relationship

that these two shared)

Veera choked on her food as soon as she heard his name. A weird feeling settled in

her pit of the stomach. She took the glass and gulped down some water.

Veera: Why he is coming back. I mean who asked him to come back.

Ratan: Veera dont talk like this. By the way they are coming to find a suitable bride

for baldev and get him married.

Veera: i pity her. (Veera muttered under her breath)

For her luck ranvi heard it and gave a stern look she smiled sheepishly and began

to eat.

IN LONDON

At balwant's house

It was around 3.30 am in the early morning. The whole family with the exception of

ballu where plotting a plan as how to kidnap baldev and take him to india. They know

that he will never agree to go to india if they tell him the real reason. So they have to

plan something to make him agree to go to india first then they will make separate plan

to make him agree for the marriage.

Gunjan: Papa ji i dont think so our plan will work. Why cant we go and sleep. I dont

want to get dark circles around my eyes.

(said gunjan checking her eyes in the pocket mirror)

Balwant: No dear this plan will work otherwise i will force him to do.

Nihal: Balwant you cant force everything on him. We can wait till he agrees.

We will explain him.

Bansuri: Ji what you are talking. Till when we will wait. Till he becomes old. Then my

dream of playing with my grandchild will always be a dream.

(Bansuri said this with fake tears)

Gunjan:Bee ji you are talking as if veerji is 35 yrs old. Chill guys he is just 25 yrs old.

Let him enjoy his life for sometime.

Nihal: Ya bansuri ji, gunjan is right if u want grandchild then we can plan gunjan marriage.

As soon as gunjan heard this she got petrified. Marriage no not now. She started dreaming

of her taking care of children and telling her children stories about how she always

dreamt of becoming a top model but couldn't fulfil her dreams.

Gunjan suddenly screamed Nooo!!!!!

Bansuri went and kept her hand on gunjan mouth and stopped her from screaming further.

Bansuri: Why are you screaming now? If baldev wakes up then we all are gone.

Gunjan removed bansuri hand from her mouth.

Gunjan: veerji waking up at 4.00 no freaking way. Even if an earthquake comes veerji will

not wake up. Waise bi we should make a good plan to make veerji get married.

Then only i can save myself and my dreams muttered gunjan under her breath.

Then all of them started to think some plan to make baldev agree to go to india.

Nihal: IDEA!!!

Gunjan: Wow nihal chachu i know u will find the solution.

(Said gunjan mentally dancing in her head to got saved from the marriage)

Balwant: i know my best friend will always help me in difficult situation.

Balwant went and hugged nihal.

Bansuri: Nihal ji i owe you a big favour. You are going to make my dream true.

(bansuri imagined herself playing with her grandchildren's)

Nihal: harrey first listen to my plan then u guys can praise me.

Nihal called everyone and whispered the plan. On hearing the plan everyone got happy.

They know that baldev cannot escape now. All of them smiled evilly.

One cute innocent soul was sleeping calmly in his bed. Unknown to the facts that his life

going to change a lot from tomorrow that to due to his evil family members.

His room was painted with green colour, the walls adorned with his hot pictures.

The room was bit messy. But all the furnitures in his room were aptly placed.

Baldev was sleeping in his king sized bed with his mouth open. No one would disagree

that he looked cutest, hottest while sleeping also. He doesnt know what is waiting for him.
