Veera was in her room, she told Amrit everything on the phone and asked for some ideas.
Amrit; kal hi he shadi?
Veera; haan, ab me kya karun?
Amrit; let me think, tu abhi so jaa me subah batati hun kuch okay
Veera; neend ayegi mujhe? okay fine
Veera lay down and tried to sleep, but thoughts occupied her mind, she still had not even met baldev, she knew him but she had no idea how changed he is after he has grown up, she kept thinking until sleep took over and early morning Chaiji woke her up for her haldi ceremony, haldi was applied to her and then she was bathed with milk, all the while she sat as a statue and as she looked at Ratan she saw an expression of extreme satisfaction, she looked down and thought how can her mother be so heartless that she got her 3-4 months old daughter married.
Her mehendi was going on in the evening when Amrit tried to call her but Veera was unable to answer her calls. At about 8pm she was all alone in her room, completely dressed as a bride when Amrit called her again and she finally picked up.

The rituals happened at Baldev's house too, he was annoyed badly and at last when he was completely dressed a groom his saturation limit was reached.

At 8;30pm there was a situation of panic in both the houses. As the bride and groom had escaped.
The whole village was in search of the bride and groom and worried.
Baldev was almost 80km away from Pritampura and he stopped his bike at a dhabba for something to drink, he was having his bottle of alcohol when he heard a cry that was of a girl.
Girl; bachao! bachao!
Baldev left his bottle and went to see who wanted help, he saw the back of a girl in bridal avatar, red lehenga, red choli with a bare belly , her hair were messed up and her dupatta hanging on her arms, three big fat goons surrounded her hungrily. Baldev understood at once that she was in trouble.
Baldev; (shouting) oye chod do kudi nu
The girl turned and both of them froze, they recognized each other at once.
Goon; oye tu hota kon he hat pare, ye dulhan ab hamari he
The guy tried to touch her, she moved back, Baldev lost his cool, he closed his fist in anger, his pupils dilated and his face and eyes burned, he moved slowly towards the guy and then grabbed his collar.
Baldev; teri he?
He started beating all the three of them, Veera stood in shock.
Veera; ye menu dhundne aya he ki?
Baldev kept beating them but one escaped and came close to Veera and tried to touch her again.
Baldev; oye, khabardar jo meri voti ko haath lagane ki koshish bhi ki to
Veera's eyes opened wide, did she hear right? he called her his wife, that meant he had already accepted her and he was there to find her.
Baldev beat them so hard they lay on the floor but he didn't stop, Veera went to him and caught his arms
Veera; chad de ab maarega ki? chad de
Baldev; nhi nhi chadunga inhe main

she pulled him to a side.
Veera; tu menu dhundne kyun aya he? dekh me tere naal vyah nhi krskti
Baldev; oye! me tenu dhundne kyun aonga me to khud vyah se bhaag k aya hun, pr tune to 7 janam tak mera peecha na chodne ki qasm kha rakhi he
Veera; tu bhi bhaga he, tu pehle nhi bta skta tha, phir me nhi bhagti na, veerji kitne pareshan ho rhe the
Baldev; tune btaya tha menu? akeli bhaag ayi esi bani thani dulhan k roop me, tenu pta nhi akeli kudi khuli hui tikori ki tarah hondi he, kuch hojata to?
Veera; kaha na menu tujhse shadi nhi krni thi
Baldev; to me to jese mara ja rha tha tere intizar me, bhootni, chal ab, akeli mat ghoom wrna tere so ashiqon se ladte ladte thak jaonga me
Veera; main wapas nahi jaa rhi pind wo hamari shadi krwa denge
Baldev; oye shadi to hamari pehle se ho rakhi he na
Veera; wo shadi nhi he, kanoon k mutabiq valid nhi wo
Baldev; pta he menu, pr dharm k mutabiq he, aur me pind nhi ja rha, pr tenu akela nhi chodunga me
Veera; nahi menu teri koi zarurat nhi hat!
she pushed him and started walking,
Baldev; rasi jal gai par bal nhi gaya, is ko to me
Baldev pulled her arm and then picked her up on his shoulder.
Veera; oye oye ki kr rha he chad menu
Baldev; chup oye, do qadam chalne pe hi tenu dusre gunde miljayenge chup kr k chal mere naal.
He walked towards his jeep, se kept protesting, some people at the dhabba witnessed it and blocked his way.
Man; oye tu kyun isko zabardasti udha k le ja rha he, kis ki dulhan he ye
Baldev; meri voti he ye, kahin bhi le jaon tujhe kya?
Man2; jhoot mat bol hum tujh jese gundon ko ache se pechante hen, bholi bhali kudiyon ko dara dhamka k uth k le aate ho, utaar ise nahi to tujhe chodenge nahi
Baldev; oye haath to laga ke dikha menu, ye meri voti hi hai, oye Veera tu kuch bol na..
Veera stayed silent
Man1; naa maang me sindoor na mangalsutr, kese maan len ise teri voti, aur ye dulhan kyun bani he jo teri shadi pehle se hui he to?
Baldev; teri to me!
Baldev saw a small temple, he rushed there and putting Veera down he filled her maang. Veera's jaw dropped
Baldev; lo khush tum log, ye meri voti he, hamara vyah phirse karwa rahe the ghar wale
Man2; acha jee maaf kardo
The man left.
Veera; ye kya kiya tune?
Baldev; kya?
Veera; jis waja se hum ghar se bhaage the wo to hogya na
Baldev; aisa kya kardiya mene?
Veera; bewaquf tune meri maang bhar di, hamara vyah pura kr diya, ab to kanoon k hisab se bhi hum shadi shuda hen, urgh! (she stomped her foot on the floor) sab barbad krdiya tune Baldeva
Baldev; to kya hua? hum talaq le lenge
Veera; wah! (she clapped) kya dimag lagaya he aapne Baldev Singh jee, tenu pata bhi hai talaq lena kinna mushqil hta he wo hamen kahenge bina sath rahe hi aapko talaq chahiye nhi koshish kijiye, 6-7 mahine hamen saath rehna padega aur itne me hamare ghar wale hamen emotional blakmail krlenge. Baldev; sab teri galti hai, na tu bhagti na tere peeche wo gunde lagte na menu ye sb krna padta
Veera; shayad Rabjee bhi chahte hen k me tere naal apna jeewan barbaad karun
Baldev smiled, he looked at her closely.
Baldev; wese..ladte jhagadte zindagi beet hi jayegi tere naal
Veera; ki?
Baldev; aur wese dikhne me bhi tu full piece her
Veera was shocked and anger took over.
