Here you cannot share your point of view if it differs from another person who blindly support baldev. I am a VeeBa fan not just Baldev or Veera fan.

Agreed! Even if your not a VEEBA fan, everyone has the right to express their opinion! They should not have to tolerate abusive comments and vile attacks from people who dont know how to have a rational discussion!

I was being polite to this member when she clearly did not deserve any such consideration! But in response I got abused! Such members need to be shown that their small minded cheapness will not be tolerated! I hope the moderators don't disappoint and censure people like this! They make time on forums like this intolerable for everyone else!

They are only here to spew hate and bash characters and then bash people! You have to feel sorry for such people and their attitude? Bullies!

That was just too much! merely arguing about what a character does on screen is one thing and calling people as 'blind fans' and 'victims of domestic abuse' is totally another thing..that was really unacceptable..
some people need to get a life immediately and not spend too much of their brains on all this..
this is a forum to discuss the show but unfortunately people just want to turn it into a battle ground😵 hope mods will take some serious action against them..

Lets hope so! These people have no shame! They are still back making their vile comments and calling people abuse victims! Disgusting!

They think the moderators work for them! Lets hope the moderators can see who the real culprits are here! People who call someone immature or those who call people vile names!!

Regardless of what mods do to stop them, they need to watch their behavior because if they had done this kind of a thing in a real life situation, i mean to say if they had abused someone this way publicly, people could take them to cops!

When I saw that comment I was shocked tbh because disagreeing about opinions over a fictional show is one thing but saying someone is a victim of abuse just because of their opinion is another thing. Domestic abuse is a real and serious issue and bringing it into a disagreement about fictional characters is just plain insensitive and petty.

Saying someone must be a victim of abuse because of their opinion is just plain insulting to the person you said it to and people who have been through domestic abuse because they're labelling them by basically saying "only abuse victims can think like this because they've been abused" and not only that but throwing domestic abuse insensitively into an argument to try and get one over on them. You called her immature and she decided to retort by ignorantly throwing a real life issue (which she probably no doubt has no understanding of) in your face.

You were trying to see things from both pov's and were saying Baldev is wrong which you are entitled to say then because of this she was saying that you must be a feminist and a domestic abuse victim. It's just insulting and judgmental.

It's the same thing as saying "because of your opinion you must have been raped in the past." Its just not done.

Imo it isn't even about Baldev and Veera anymore, it's the fact that how can someone so insensitively say something like that? It's not a joke, it's a real life issue and imagine if someone who does suffer from abuse was hurt by that because of how carelessly she threw such a real issue into a disagreement about fictional characters. We don't know each other fully on here and no doubt there are probably people who have suffered from abuse on here so imagine if she had said that to someone who had suffered from abuse?

How would they feel seeing someone so carelessly throw and try to use an issue they've suffered through into a conversation about fictional characters? Imagine how they'd feel to see such insensitivity about the issue? Imagine how they'd feel seeing a disagreement of opinions and then seeing someone using a real life issue they've been through to try and "win" the discussion and discredit the others opinion. It's just not done.

You can't go around accusing people of suffering from real life issues just because you don't like or agree with their opinion. It's a serious real life issue, it isn't a weapon for people to use.

Maria, I thank you for the way you have responded! But if you want to see the mentality of the people who make these comments, please go back to the said thread and see how the person who made the comments and her nice friend are taunting me! They are calling me an "Attention Seeker" for making this thread!

They are bullies and they should be ashamed of the way they act! But such people will never learn! So no point in arguing with them! They will never change!

It just annoys me how it's like they're saying "if you've suffered from abuse then your opinion doesn't count for sh** BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN ABUSED." Like how insensitive and judgmental is that? So people who choose to see things a different way from you and say Baldev is wrong must be victims of abuse because victims of abuse aren't capable of making a sensible and unbiased opinion? Like thats what I got from that and that's why I'm so angry because that's labelling and judgmental and insensitive.

Also I'd like to point out to anyone who's reading this that I've always supported Baldev and justified Baldev's actions and bashed and been disappointed in Veera when she's done wrong. I am not a Veera fan who is jumping on this band wagon because I support Veera.

Infact I'm more team Baldev than anything and I don't think Baldev's always right but in my opinion I try to keep in mind that Baldev is a person who's been through too much. Because at the end of the day Baldev at one point was a great boyfriend and it's circumstance and everything that happened to him that turned him into this and more than seeking revenge he just seems to not care anymore.

I like the character because of Vishal more than anything tbh because he blows me away with his acting and I have enjoyed scenes in this track because seeing what Vishal can do is just facinating to me and I am in no way a fan who sees Baldev as a person who's done no wrong but I just feel like his actions for me in terms of Veera can be more easily understood and explained and justified because of what we've seen him go through and because of Vishal's acting and his range of emotion and actions through we can see what he's feeling whereas Veera I don't always understand her.

My point is Baldev, I get where he's coming from most of the time even now because we've seen what he's been through, we've been on that journey with him and seen him reach happiness only to get hurt again and again whereas Veera I don't get why she does half of the things she does. I don't understand her character or personality at all, it's like she changes like the wind and what she says or does isn't explained and it is often just downplayed or swept under the carpet. If I was to describe Baldev's personality and his relationships and journey, I'd be able to do it easily because we've seen why he's become like this whereas I don't know who the real Veera is because she changes so much. That's why I'm always more team Baldev because despite his wrongs I at least can understand his actions through his journey whereas Veera is unpredictable and I feel like she just changes to suit the track.

They obviously don't understand how hurtful and insensitive and downright ignorant such comments. It's a real issue and it's disgusting to see someone use it against someone in a discussion. It just makes them look ignorant and uneducated about such issues. I saw the comment and what you wrote and wrote my comment on that thread but I didn't want to hang around because I know they won't see the wrong and insensitivity in their comments. It's like talking to a brick wall. They think their opinions are right and everyone else is wrong and you were bang on about immaturity earlier. It was spot on because a grown up would understand that such issues are serious and shouldn't be taken so lightly.

@MariaS395 -
Yes I think Baldev has been treated badly and he was very justified in his anger! But then I don't think any and every reaction of his is justified! I also don't go into the dangerous territory of saying that women who are not perfect partners are deserving of whatever treatment that is served up to them!

I have also called Veera a loser and a Veerji obsessed nut! But then, those things are forgotten as soon as you say "Ballu dont push your wife around!" No we cant ever say that! We are Ballu abusers if we say that!

It's funny how the TM of that thread is trying to justify what she said to me, by saying I called her immature and judgmental. I called her comments vile and she said I called her vile! No point in going into it! Its always "My way or the highway" with these types!

Anyways, I hope we all get to have some interesting debates in the future about the future track! Gunjan's abortion drama should be VERY interesting indeed!
