Veera: What Went Wrong?

What has happened to this show? I went from looking forward to each episode to barely managing to sit through one! I find the show to be in a worst state now than it was during the Chanchali track which I used to think was the worst by the CVs but they've proved me wrong. I feel the show on a whole is seriously lacking somewhere, this track with Ranvi had potential but sadly as a viewer I fail to connect to it all and I strongly feel it has to do with Ranvi's characterization. The CVs really need to work on his character, at times he is hot headed and too proud and other times he sulks and needs to be pacified. Its what makes his scenes unbearable, (Note: Please don't get me wrong, this has nothing to do with the actor, I think Shivin is a sweetheart but his character could be written so much better)

Veera and Baldev, I have to wonder where the CVs are going with them as a couple. I still love them but I feel like CVs don't know how to take their story forward and somewhere things have hit a roadblock. I know there is the spoiler about Ratan finding out about them but not getting much hopes up about that, low expectations seem to be the way to go with shows these days.

Nihal, what a disappointment his return has been. I love his character but to see him get such little airtime is sad. I was really hoping to see him have a strong role here and more so hoping to see his love story with Ratan possibly having a chance this time around but he only gets a few minutes of airtime here and there, why?

Why is it so hard for these CVs to show a balance of tracks without destroying one completely? Its like during the Poland track, the Chanchali track could have been a great parallel story because it was promising but in a week CVs butchered it to the point of no return.

Agree with everything that you have said. Except I do think that Shivin does share some of the blame along with the writers and the director, who are the main culprits for the train wreck that is Ranvi.

Have nothing more to add because that would require me to waste my brain cells over this cr*ptastic show.😆

The only problem is that the writers simply dont know how to balance tracks!
When they focus on one track... they completely forget the other one & just dont know where to go with it!
Add pathetic acting to that!
I dont remember the last time I watched the whole epi on TV... heck I havent watched any epi on tv since last week!
Veera & Baldev solving Ranvi's problems is annoying & boring as hell!
But now when R is gone, the cvs dont know wat to show abt them!
Yeah Ratan finding abt them is going to be a twist... but zero expectations from that!
When they can wrap up Ratan-Veera track in two epi... yeh to aadhe epi me hi khtm kar sakte hain! 😆

Nihal & Baldev... my most fav & the only two sensible characters on the show... completely underutilised!
Just imagine how the standard of this show wld go up if the focus is only on these two instead of some pathetic Rotlu!
Kapil & Vishal are seriously stuck!
These two are one of the finest actors out there... still the PH doesnt understand their worth & treats them like a trash whereas the below average actors and dumb characters played by them hog the maximum screenspace!

Yes. Balancing is the main issue with this show. But you know the funny part Mandy? They forget about balancing the episodes only during Ranvi-Gunjan tracks. When the Poland track was going everything was balanced. But here toh they have completely ignored the other characters for this boring track!


Now, I understand they want to delay VeeBa's story as much as possible but they could have done it in a better way rather than completely sidelining them and NiRa.


I have always said this. Any track involving Ranvi has always and will always be boring. I was never this pissed even during the Gunjan spl episodes (or maybe I was 🤔 😆 . The track is a big bore. And I cant believe they cant see nobody ia excited about it!


And seriously speaking ab toh I am glad Veera and Baldev are being sidelined. I want to see the TRPs which this track brings.
Also, I loved the Saturday episode which mostly had VeeBa and Nira. That means the problem is not with them but the epicly boring singer track!

i agree with u.bt differ on point that ranvi lack coz of only poor characterisation.yesterday scenes made me laugh.i was like watching emotional ott drama.shivin had done good job in anger emotional during nihal revelation track.bt yesterday kitchen scene look like comedy with unnecessary ott drama with ott expressions.if same scene had been filmed on baldev or nihal it wld had been different.abt characterisation each chrcter is butchered,confused & inconsistent.poor track,poor screenplay,poor acting.

The problem is that this show badly lacks proper planned storyline, balancing the characters, their individual tracks and mainly a main villain for the show. The cvs doesn't seem to have any proper storyline, IMO! They're just going on with a flow which they feel is good enough. I wonder if they even watch these episodes from a viewer's pov. When I say good tracks I don't mean only VeeBa tracks, I know very well that RJ are also part of this show. But where are they headed? Ranvi will face hurdles all alone in Mumbai without his babysitters except for G. But after that what's the future track for him, he'll become a star and return to PP, isn't it? I don't see a good future for RJ's story in this show except coming back and get pampered by PP vasis, or else be a hurdle to NiRa and VeeBa!

Secondly, why can't they balance the characters and their tracks? Infact during Poland track half the screen time was dedicated to RanJanChu drama, nah? Then why the hell they're showing this effing Ranvi track for a complete 16 mins with two mind spared for PP drama?

Thirdly, this show is meaningless until there's a villain, I don't get why can't they afford a permanent villain like Surjeet singh? Kabhi Gunjan villain ban jaati hai, ya kabhi Baldev or Chancahli., but within two weeks they finish that kind of tracks too🥱

Lastly, what was the need for bringing back Nihal if they don't have any solid track planned for him, why not plan and reunite NiRa, they still have the chemistry why not use that?

Mandy@agree with everything you've said, except the part about Shivin! I repeat once again he's terrible in acting as Ranvi, no expressions, no voice modulation a nothing! Tbh, whenever he comes the show becomes dead boring.

Whatever happened to Surjeet Singh? Yet another character gone to waste, seriously! I remember so many of us having high hopes for him to come back during the sarpanch track but what happened? NOTHING! Talk about an opportunity wasted

Nihal and Ratan were a huge hit with fans, in fact they are still are but CVs are throwing a small bone to viewers to make them think something will happen. Its a huge disappointment to see them not be utilized to their potential.

preleap there were few chrcters with good focus & tracks & good villain too.bt post leap it is frustrating to watch that cv treat good actors like side chrcter.abt story,it is nt bad.as it is nt typical saas bahu drama.screenplay &execution of scene is bad & ruined more by pathetic acting.like if cv want to potray stuggle then they wld have made it realistic by using real life incidents & good moments.bt it turned crap.also it is frustrating to watch whole focus on 1 or 2 chrcters &sidelining others .

I seriously & completely fail to understand what are the CV's trying to show out of this track - Their favorite characters are hogging the screen space for 20 mins & the rest of the potential characters are being sidelined so damn easily ... Those characters which are the entertainment factor to the show, brings the TRP for the show, the USP of the show - Be it Nihal-Ratan story, Baldev-Veera story or even story about individual characters. All the characters seem to be disappeared - Where did Bansuri, Chaiji, Balwant gone ??

Why don't the CV's understand that this track is not appealing, forget about the fans of the show - I'm sure even the over all general viewers are on the verge to break the TV with the ongoing happenings in the show ... Why the CV's just don't understand how to balance the episode ... Take yesterday's episode as an example - If RG were hogging the screen space with the most unnecessary & stupid scenes - There was even no need to show VeeBa & Nihal - Those crack CVs could just have shown another senseless drama of RG for 1.5 mins. The negligence by the CV's are making all the characters to loose their charm slowly.

Villains like Surjeet Singh, Bakhtawar & Kartar have just vanished from the show ... And the great producers of this show are investing so much on this singing track. They bought Rohit Bakshi (The Host Dev), Shibani Kashyap (Megha) , Raj Singh (Anmol) , Sanjay Gagnani (The contestant Rishab) , Toshi-Sharib as judges + Composing 4 songs for Ranvi by Darshan Rawal - The contestant from India's Raw Star.

The makers instead should invest on the wardrobes of the four leads & currently on Baldev ... The makers should invest to hire a good script & story writers & writing of the show' hire a good make up artist, hire a good cameraman, bring back the old villains rather than turning Gunjan to villain & psycho and so much more that they could invest.

Actors like Sneha, Kapil & Vishal are being treated like trash ... These awesome actors & their talents are being waste like anything - Put them as a statue for a minute in every episode

Lack of balancing the episode only RG track whereas during Poland track 10mins were dedicated to RanJanChu drama & look at now - just 2 mins of all the 4 characters & 20mins to such an unnecessary, boring & pathetic stuffs ... The makers themselves are on the verge of shutting down this show. I'm just too tired of complaining & yelling everyday ... Just watching this show for VishAna / VeeBa out of habits.
