As for JA, i still watch it sometimes. As Sonu said, Ekta introduces these awesome villains and manages to make the drama very entertaining. I like to pretend that I am just watching a show with characters whose names are 'inspired' from the Mughals. 😆

As for the real Emperor Akbar, I don't think he'd care about Ekta's assessment, he'd be more pleased to know that he's recognized by Time magazine as one of the leaders of the millennium along with Gandhi ji😉

The characters are mercilessly being butchered, but it's still entertaining, man. Yesterday, it was just plain awesome with Maham Anga's rant at Akbar. Awesome acting from Ashwini Kalsekar and Rajat. 😊

Ultimately, the channel gets their revenue from all these ads. I dunno whether the same ads are transmitted abroad. Even if they are, these ads aren't intended for them because Indian consumers are their target audience. No offense intended to any UK viewers on the forum, i am stating the reality as I see it.

There's this Colors show at 9.30 which tops the UK ratings most of the time, but its TVM's closer home are downright dismal. Will the advertisers care about the Indian or UK audiences?😳 😳Again, stating the bald facts as I see them. No offense intended to fans of that show, either.

Thats the point..JA atleast has conflict and good acting..I have no idea whats happening on the show off late but Rajat was brilliant as Jalal..His attitude, body language-its spot on..I stopped watching though cos i couldn't take all the butchering beyond a point 😆 And please don get me started on KB..This post might get closed if i trash that show here😆 Sriti is actually the best actress on Telly IMO..But Pragya is infuriating to say the least..Ekta has literally turned her into a doormat..We must be sadists to enjoy a woman being tortured that way..I shouldn't judge though cos my mom loves that show 😆 I wouldn't ever want that kinda drama in Veera..The only problem is that there is absolutely no conflict or drama on this show ..Its all bland 😆

I have a girl crush on Sriti, bas. How awesome was she in the talli scenes?😃 But I can see why your mom and occasionally even I watch that show. It's the typical good-girl-reforms-the-hot-bad-boy story. We even have the traditional Madonna/wh*** dichotomy with Tannu and Pragya😆 It has all the stereotypes in abundance.

At this point, I would love to see SOME conflict in Veera. But no, they will make us wallow in eternal boredom
