If I am not wrong, I think it was you who mentioned in one of your posts long ago that you ordered a copy of her book. How was it, bud?

I hope for your sake that her writing is better than her singing:)

Thats the whole point 😆 I'd rather my parents correct me or explain things to me than have a third part mock/ backbite..To each his own i guess 😆

@Divya

What an eerie co-incidence! You answered to my question even before I asked it!!! I was meaning to ask you this for quite some time now.

Tussi great ho jii! 😃And my condolences. Nothing spoils one's mood like a badly-written book.

no no that is okay , actually i put lot of efforts to understand what she has written, , each sentence is a test for u ... like that I read 2 chapters -then had to stop

I really wonder why the book was not corrected by someone before publishing ...

Hmm. The publishing house needs to be established in the first place. I randomly googled the details of her book one day. And the publishing house didn't sound like Penguin/Bloomsbury types to me!

And 16 is too young to publish, IMO. Great writers are handed their first rejection slips at this age, and then they hone their craft and achieve sublimity.

But I guess you can applaud her courage. I am 23, and I wouldn't dare to share a draft of my (non-existent) literary manuscript to an editor's scrutiny!!!😆

That's true. I also prefer that my mom/dad call me out and correct me when I am going wrong. Nothing like tough love. 😃

But since her parents are the ones who're indulging her, I guess the big,bad world has to do it, eh?

And...I am going to stop now. Mods will close this thread because we're making personal remarks. Mein toh chali😃
