This forum has such double standards. And worst is that religion, etc are brought into discussions. -_-
To be frank, I'm not even surprised. The same thing happened during the Karan track. People don't even think twice before bringing abuse in discussions, especially when knowing that it's a sensitive topic. What's even funny is that such a post is even made when the TM itself dislikes Sahil/Veera's 'closeness', and yet, takes quality time to take screenshots of a scene they immensely dislike. Of course, they can make a topic on anything they like. But I fail to see the point of this topic? It basically has 'yuck, I hate this scene' and pretty much nothing to discuss about. The frustration thread can be used to express the same.I don't really see what big crime Veera has committed if she was seen roaming around with a guy? Cuz he's a guy and she's a girl? And thus, should stay in her 'limits'. What limits? A person, girl or boy, can do whatever the heck they want! As far as I know, Veera is not in a relationship with Baldev! It's a free country for god's sake! Having a relationship is also not something that the society approves of! Yet if Veera and Baldev will be in a relationship, will people say the same thing? How she's being so touchy-touchy with Baldev? And she should stay in her limits? Of course not! Cuz she'll be in a relationship with BALDEV!

Well I am not surprised by the reactions at all!!! I have seen time and again supporting the character Baldev becomes fangirlism or fallen head over heels for Vishal!!!
Saying a word against Veera is taken as bashing the character or actress!!! Atleast I know I don't belong to that league where I have a problem with the actress voice or weight!!!In my part of the globe oggling, talking and touching does not fall under the same category!!!! Getting touchy can give wrong signals whether the boy does it or girl!!! My reaction for the this hand holding thing would have been different had they shown this after Veera has developed a bond with Saahil!!!If a hot guy just walks past me, I would surely give him a approving look and even exclaim he is hot!!! But yes touching someone without an impending reason is not common as far as I have seen in my life!!! May be the way we all are brought up do have a major part in our views and I respect it. I know these are subjective indeed. As far as I have seen Asian culture physical contact with opposite sex, we do have some reservations and that is the same yard stick I am measuring it with. Then speaking about the selfie thing of Baldev was also over done by the cvs. I have a count of his selfie session too three of them in City Centre and two sessions on the lover's bridge!!!

exactly..the point is this is asian culture being shown if it was an european or american show no one would bother..even one night stands are not a big deal there..so can they show that in indian shows too and ppl would justify😕

Exactly Sonu... I pointed out this difference keeping in mind the cultural references only. Not even once I have meant that the act of Veera is s****ish or she is a pro******e as people have noted. We have for sure progressed from the archaic notion of male female interaction, but still there is a border line somewhere for girls. Why you have to view that border line as a renegade always?? It is sometimes for your own personal safety!!! When you touch and hug your male friends they know exactly who you are, what you think, how you feel!!! But if I go and touch any male whom I have barely known, first of all I have no clue how he would perceive me as a person, secondly I might not know what would be his thought process and reaction to it!!! Then touching someone whom you have barely met just once and many times would not have the same effect!!!! Touching once can be perceived as a casual gesture and it might not do any harm, but if you do it repeatedly the reaction and perception can differ!!!Why our families at times caution us, because as a female you are certainly the weaker sex when it comes to physical strength and the repercussions a girl might have to bear will never be the same!!! Being feminist is ok, but why we tend to over do it??? In the name of gender equality can a woman walk around topless like a man??? Whether we like it or not, there is some difference between man and woman in the basic make and hence in the societal norms!!! It is not mandatory a female has to be right always!!!
