But it's something that has been THERE from the start. And has played a huge part in for her to become such a person. Honestly, if my mom was THAT sexist, I would have gone batshit crazy. Even more so than Gunjan. That however, I repeat again, does not justify her actions. But it is something that is part of her character. The CVs could have shown her becoming a better person, but I doubt that will ever happen. The way they handled Gunjan's character is absolutely terrible.

And @the dream thing, are you kidding me? You just can't dream of something without any reason AND be obsessed with it for 20+ years, like mentioned by OP. And the way it hit Baldev when he lost makes me doubt that it was just something he wanted to achieve out of the blue, without any reason. Cuz if it was just a mere obsession than that is just absurd. No offence.

then why isn't gunjan destoring baldev..he's her enemy na..most of the love he got..but no she's keen on destroying veera who is an orphan for God's sake..and plx dreams are not seen for a purpose and we get obsessed with stuff for no reason like we dnt love any1 for a reason..and u r offending with clear intentions than saying no offence is ridiculous..what reason gunjan has for plotting against veera and wanting to go to canada😳

Baldev and Gunjan are completely different characters. What Gunjan did was absolutely cruel and horrible, but there were things that actually drove her to that point. She had a horrible past, her mother was literally a b*itch to her. Her ONLY dream and hope was to escape somewhere she could get the empathy and love she always wanted. Now I'm not defending Gunjan. But literally drawing comparisons with Baldev and Gunjan when both of their freakin' situations were different, is absolutely ridiculous, IMO. You cannot expect two people to act the same regarding something when both had their own reasons. Also has Baldev's reason ever been shown for what he wanted the Sarpanch title for? Gunjan had NO ONE on her side. Her father was/is & always will be a spineless creature who couldn't even save her from her vicious mom, when things happened in front of his eyes. And no, I'm not saying Gunjan's action are justified. But this whole forum seems to go in a frenzy regarding the whole sibling crap; how one's SO evil and the other is like dood ka nahaya hua.

Yes, I do agree, Baldev is a better person than Gunjan. But people just tend to go overboard with the comparisons, sometimes. Especially when they're really not needed. Not moral policing or anything but writing my own POV:)

I agree there is no comparison between Gunjan and Baldev. They may be siblings but they are not the same person. Everyone reacts differently to challenges. Baldev is basically a SECURE person. So the way he acts will be very different to the way Gunjan acts, coz she is a very INSECURE person. The way she acted was totally unacceptable and cruel. Chanchali is the same as well. At least Gunjan tried to get revenge off the people she thought DID destroy her dream. (Though you wonder at her judgement, coz these are people she grew up with and they had NO reason to lie about some man they didn't even know). But leaving that aside, that Chanchali is USING Gunjan to get back at their father. In my opinion she is worse than Gunjan.

But Baldev...he I think wants to be sarpanch coz that is the most influential title in the village. He wants to be top dog! There are lots of people who just love to be in control and love to be the centre of attention. I also think, he thinks he can be a good leader. The guy IS a born leader. He can get anyone to do anything for him! That is the sign of a person who has the power of persuasion on his side. Best example is when he managed to get the village people to go against Ratan's embroidery factory. He was SO manipulative. A perfect politician in my opinion.

Also, I think he wants to be sarpanch, coz subconsciously he probably wants to show his father that HE can occupy his seat and do an even better job than he did! His father has never shown faith in him. So this could be a Freudian way of getting his respect! But I agree that Baldev and Gunjan are not the same. So just coz Gunjan spent her time trying to get back at Ranvi and Veera, that dosent mean that BALDEV too needs to waste his time doing the same... the fact IS he realised what he was doing is destructive and he decided to defer. That is the sign of a man with a brain AND a heart!! That's why I love Baldev! He is a hero and a villain, both rolled into one!! He is a BAZIGAAR! :)

Lol, really? Your whole post holds no relevance whatsoever to mine. I have never said that dreams are seen with a purpose. But you do dream cuz you have a REASON to do so?

The whole wanting to go to Canada, IMO(In My Opinion), was ridiculous on Gunjan's part after marriage. I did not find any logic in it or whatsoever. But the post is about Gunjan's chant about her broken dreams and I was putting my POV forth on that.

If I don't mention no offence, you get offended. Even when I mention no offence, you get offended.

You summed up pretty much what I wanted to say. I guess, some people took it as me defending Gunjan, even when I have mentioned that I'm not doing that. Anyways, yes, I do agree with your post about literally everything you have said. Gunjan is an insecure person. Baldev is secure. I do not see the point of comparing their situations. When basically their characters are completely different from each other.

About Chanchali, honestly I just skip her scenes. She seems like another Bansuri; stealing Gunjan's title. 😆

So I'm watching bits and parts of the show and I'm just annoyed.

It's not about B having a golden heart, it's about his character being inconsistent. One day he's literally mad with fury at losing next he's happily going to Poland forgetting all about his ''dream''?

Shouldn't he be working towards it? Or does he plan to remain an awara hooligan all his life? He wants to marry Veera but has he ever thought of how he will take care of her?

Btw did Veera ever come to know it's not B who beat up Ranvi during the elections? Or is she falling for a man who supposedly had her Veerji beaten up?

Thankyou CVs for destroying my two favourite characters in the show. First make a mockery of the pain a girl has faced when her own mother treats her like shit. When you can't realise the pain such a person goes through don't try and make stories about them.
And Baldev. Of course when you got nothing else destroy a character with so much promise. Baldev needs to grow up and man up, realise the responsibilties towards his parents who are becoming old. HE is the one who has to take care of them. In real life, this is the kind of son no one should get out. He is the guy who uses rats to destroy somene's political campaign. THAT is his maturity level.

I hope the CVs realise that Vishal and his freaking brilliant potrayl of Baldev is the ONLY reason why their ship is still sailing. He is the ONLY reason why a character like Baldev has fans. Without Vishal, this show and Baldev are NOTHING!

I can just hope he gets to play more consistent characters in his future endeavours.
