That was a confession of love if I ever heard one. The only words he didn't say was "I love you". But it was truly implied. I don't think he meant to imply it. He himself dosent know that he confessed his love to Veera. Even she didn't know what to make of that heartfelt offer of support.

But the line "Ek pal keh liye bhi Akela Nahin chorunga" is definitely a confession of love. I have NO doubt about that!!
