I agree with you. The lack of communication is used continously as a tool for increasing drama...and it seems so pointless to me. My friends would always be so surprised when I told them that the only Indian show I watched was about two little kids lol...but I stood firm in it's defence...the show was amazing. Those episodes that focused on the kids and their stories never required forced drama because kids are so fun and have such amazing imaginations and creativity that the drama would just unfold. It was when they began forcing the drama with the whole Kartar nonsense that it ever got annoying.

I also used to wonder about how the RanVeera relationship would evolve as they got older. I have not been impressed by the cheesy make shift connection that we've been given for these two. The hugs, the feeding each other etc...are just superficial things that the kids did...by copying that the writers aren't going to recreate the magic of RanVeera...the bond between them was more than that...the little Ranvi knew little Veera...he was always attuned to her feelings and she was as well but to a lesser degree due to her age. They spoke to each other abou their feelings...they told each other secrets...protected each other...regardless of any new romantic relationships this aspect of thei relationship should have remained in tact...sadly it hasn't.

Baldev understands Veera better than her own brother!!! If I had predicted this pre leap I would've been laughed off the forum! I love Veeb chemistry and love that he gets her...but I don't understand why Ranvi has lost the ability to see his sister...what happened to him?

How Ranvi was after Gunjans tantrum was the final nail in the RanVeera coffin to me...I just couldn't imagine the little ones ever being so disloyal to each other for anyone! I'm also not surprised at the 180 Gunjan has takers once again...we're subjected to her cray and then she's sweet as can be the very next day...just like last time we are expected to buy her redemption without question.

I believe the writers think we're stupid because that's the only explanation that makes sense in explaining why all the drama for something so silly...Ranvi could've had two parties and all would've been alright in the SS household. Nobody talks to each other about anything important...just frivolous crap. The lack of communication is the writers secret weapon to bring us such amazing drama filled storylines post leap!

Very well written post and almost agree with most of your points.
This shows was really good before leap happened. After leap everything is in mess and left midway for audience to assume.
I will first say about VeeBa as they're the only good thing about this show now. I am liking the foundation on which their relation is building up. Nothing is hurried in their case. They're gradually heading towards what is destined to them.
But I agree on part that their emotional bonding is always shown related to Gunjan's problems.
Veera has slowly started trusting him and he,has forgiven her for heartbreak and accepted her friendship.
In Poland track maybe they will come more close. But I want them to share things with each other even after they fall in love.
Just like IshRa , I love them Bcoz they seem more like real life couple and I want veeba to be like them.

RanJan story is most shallow one I have seen on TV. Everything about them looks fake and forced.
I will compare RanJan marital life with Ratan-Sampooran. I know RanJan's problems are are too small compare to other couple. Pre leap Ratan came to know about her husbands affair ans her outburst was justified. But then the way Sampooran apologised and then later left his family to repent , as a viewer One can connect to their story.
Whereas in RanJan story their problems can get resolve if they sit and have discussed the,matters. And I dont think Ranvi ever neglected his wife. They have shown him giving her time and respect as and when required.
He took all the blame for her, bcoz of his decision his family had to go through insults and shame. He saved her many a times , he saved her dignity from getting tarnished. He showed more care towards her post,leap than anyone else in his life. But all that has been pushed aside for small things like he brings Veera between their romantic lunch or he went to attend Veera's surprise party first... I mean this is stupid if we consider them in love. Gunjan should be happy to have such a loving husband.

And me too didn't understand why can't Ranvi have 2 HBD parties ??
It's like they mess up everything in whole week and on the last hthe give one sorry and finish everything.
Its the almost with all the tracks.
