More than two weeks ago, as I was packing for my vacation, I was a little sad that I was gonna miss a track that I always looked forward to, that I thought would mend the flaws in the show. Boy! Was I wrong?😳
Apart from a complete 360 degree change in the characters of almost everyone, where is this story actually going?
I have no idea what they are planning to do with Ranvi and Gunjan. Once that guy is supremely shy, once he is bold, Gunjan shows maturity at times and then is ridiculously juvenile and takes offence to Veera teaching her to use a tab? Like really? Also, what is the future for this couple? Tagging behind Ratan and Veera?
I get that Veera is the lead character and most of what she has done is right but pretending to be in love with Baldev was so low. And that has been her only mistake so far though her attitude can be a little irritating at times. Still, she shouldn't have done that even if the situation did indeed call for a dramatic step.
For Baldev, I have no words. I thought the track was gonna make a better man of him. I thought it was to show him how wrong he was because Baldev has only thought about himself and him in the post of Sarpanch but not for the good of the village. Heck! I know he was a grey shaded character and the CVs need to use that. The only thing that jars is the past. Does a person change so much? So much that he entirely loses all the feelings he had for a person in one day?
I for the life of me can't wrap my head around this.
Now Gunjan is also turning negative so finally we have an evil pair of siblings on the show😆
Bansuri has definitely raised selfish specimens who do not think beyond themselves. But I do pity Baldev and Gunjan for having such a mother. She has ruined both of them and though I usually do not sympathise nor connect with Gunjan, she definitely didn't deserve such a treatment from Bansuri. That woman's blatant nepotism appalls me. She showed no regret whatsoever when Gunjan blasted her. Wow!😕
The only good thing to come out of this was Ratan being given the title of Sarpanch but that too was shortlived when her first task was to play Ludo. Seriously? I thought they usually familiarised themselves with the office.🤓
With all that's going on, we are back to square one as far as Veera and Baldev are concerned. In fact, I sometimes question myself are they really endgame? Why will Veera fall for such a guy now? A huge redemption is the need of the hour and I am hoping the CVs don't make Veera fall for Baldev just as suddenly as Gunjan realised she loved Ranvi.
It is also my sincere request that they do not give such cheesy and boring scenes to VeeBa as they did with RanJan though it will be a tad better coz Vishal and Digangana are better compared to Shivin and Farnaz respectively. Also, any flaws from Digangana's side will be effectively covered by Vishal.😳
