Its an interesting thing which I noticed between the portrayal of Baldev and Ranvi in this Sarpanch track.
As for Non-Mytho people, A quick summary about Karna-Arjuna would help understanding this post.
Karna was always looked down upon, he never got the respect he deserved, though being a royal and divine blood never got his share of respect because his mother abandomed him and he was adopted by a low class. He went to train under Arjuna's guru but was ridiculed due to his caste, hence he went to learn from Lord Parshurama, who was Arjuna's Guru's own Guru.. He was the brother of Arjuna but nobody ever knew it. His skills/archery was equal ( most probably superior) to Arjuna but whenever he tried to display it or fight Arjuna, he was ridiculed because he was not of a royal blood, but he did a couple of wrong things which he repented. Even his brothers insulted him, just like Baldev's sister was about to do.
- Baldev resembles Karna, in this Sarpanch track at least. Baldev, though good at heart, did some things which were 'not so ideal', but he is very competent and doesn't really need help of anyone, unlike Ranvi, who, even for standing in the elections needed quite a Morale support. His own father does not support him just like Karna's mother never supported him. Popularity wise too, I think we all know Baldev is the most popular character in the show, Karna, too is always ahead of Arjuna when it comes to popularity, you can Google and see how many polls, comment wars his fans win, he has the most number of books written on him too. So I found quite a resemblance b/w Baldev and Karna.
Arjuna was the ideal hero, just like Ranvi, no faults only advantages. He is known as the finest archer in the three worlds. At the time of war, his morale was down just like Ranvi, and needed Krishna to guide just like veera Guides Ranvi.
-Ranvi is the ideal lead of the show, a great guy with no faults, just like Arjuna. He is the most eligible guy to become Sarpanch,everyone knows it. Many times his Morale is shaken and he needs Veera ( or anyone else ) to help, for example public speaking. Ranvi, just like Arjuna, is the ideal hero of the show. These are the resemblance I found b/w Arjuna-Ranvi.
