Oh god siya this was just Awesome!!!i could feel baldev's pain,you have beautifully conveyed it,just loved it to the core,the dialogs were also very beautiful though i had a hard time understanding them, had to read them over and over again 😆 (wud really appreciate translations buddy 😃 ) And Aww.. it was very very sweet of u to add my vm,i am humbled 😳 Thank u!

Part 4

Baldev got out of the car feeling a lot better than he did in recent times. Baldev could not help but question himself, how the care and affection of a random old man strangely brought an end to the deafening silence in his heart? At times a bittersweet confession like these from the deepest chords of his heart surprises Baldev that how he can still be human? He was pulled out of his reverie by a soft voice, "Beta aadha ya poora glass chaahiye mera special cutting chai?" Baldev once again smiled at the irony how a voice as soft as that of this stranger could pull him, whereas he always seems to be unaffected by the loud commotion around him!!! Probably all he needs is one drop of love, "Kya mujhe bas ek boond ishq ki khwaaish hai?"

Baldev shook his head as he heard him calling Beta once again and replied in a dreamy delicate voice, "Chaachaji poora glass piyoonga mein, uske hisse ka bhi..." The old man's eyes twinkled as he heard "Uske hiss aka bhi..."!!! He passed the steaming chai to Baldev and enquired, "Aur khaane ke liye kuch Beta?" With the Chai came the odour that brought her vividly before him and everything blurred into a speck. There she was, "Grabbing the tea from his hand and enjoying every bit of it!!! Then snatching his 5 Rs biskoot and munching it happily as if it is a recipe which has won Michelin 5 Star rating!!!" Baldev smiled reminiscing her sweet memories, "Chaachaji bas ek biscuit de dijiye khaane ke liye..." Old man felt a bit dejected as he did not have any biscuits with him, "Beta woh toh nahi hai lekin Kairi khaoge, mera beta wahi bechta hai??"

"Kairi!!!"Baldev repeated and gave a wry smile, "Hamaare Rishte ki Tarah - Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi!!!" It was too difficult for the old man to ignore the pain in Baldev's voice and handsome face from the moment he saw him!!! The wrinkles in his face gave him enough wisdom to deduce that the young man before him was wounded in love, "Itna bada gaadi mein ghoomne ke bawajood jo ladka mujh jaise gareeb ko Chaachaji bula sakta hai uska dil kitna nek hoga? Iska masoom dil todne ki kisi ne kaise jurrat ki?" Finally the old man decided to confront Baldev, after weighing all his options, "Zyaada se zyaada kya kar sakta hai? Yeh chilla sakta hai, lekin chillane se ya baat karne se usko sukoon milta hai toh wahi sahi!!!" The old man stuttered, "Woh... Wohh... Woh kaun thi beta?"

Baldev was not at all surprised by this question; he just smiled at the irony how he wished her to understand him, but she was always oblivious to his pain, his feelings, and his thoughts!!! Here a stranger could sense his suffering in a matter of seconds, life seems really unpredictable!!! Baldev flashed a smile, "Chaachaji wohh kaun thi? Ye galat sawal hai, Yeh poocho ki wohh kaun hai?" The old man nodded as if he has understood the wafer-thin line between the words "thi" and "hai"!!! Baldev can never run away from the truth that she had been with him, she is within him and she will always be within him no matter what!!! Baldev chuckled at the thought, "Chaachaji wohh kaun hai usse zyaada yeh maayine rakhte hai ki wohh mere liye kya hai? Wohh meri duniya hai!!! Log aksar yeh bolte hai ki kisi ek ke chale jaane se duniya nahi badalti... par yeh kaise samjhaaon logon ko ki agar aapki duniya ruk si gayi hai toh phir zindagi kaise chalegi? Aaj bhi mein wahi khada hoon, jahan ussne mujhe choda tha!!! Mere dil ke sau tukdon ko nichodne ke baad bhi... uske naam ka ek boond ishq milta hai!!! Yeh sochke khush hota hoon ki pyaar mein tadapna sirf mere naseeb mein likha hai, kyunki agar woh tadapti toh woh mere liye jaan leva hota hai" Her memories leave a delicious ache in his heart, but he was quick enough to insulate it with a smile, "Mujhe pata hai dil sauggat mein nahi milte, lekin joh chand lamhe uske saath mujhe khairiyaat mein mile the usko seene se lagaake ghoomta hoon!!! Kyunki wohi meri junoon hai aur sukoon bhi!!!"

The old man was totally speechless; he could feel the sadness smeared in each fiber of the young man standing before him. He was not sure whether he should nudge Baldev to pour his heart out fully or not, he sadly thought, "Lagta hai sab kuch hai iske paas, lekin dil ki dawa nahi!!!" The old man gently touched Baldev's shoulder, he knew that this was his way to console him, "Beta woh tumhari duniya hai yeh toh sahi hai, lekin tum kya lagte ho uski?" Baldev's face was suddently masked with a little shadow of sadness, "Main... Main uski aaina hoon!! Woh aaina jo uski khushi se jhoom udthi hai aur jo uske gham se mayoos hoti hai!!! Yeh aaina tootke bikharne se khauff hai mujhe!!! Lekin iss baat se khushi hogi ki jis din poori tarah toot jaoonga tab bhi aaine ki unn tukdon mein sirf uska chehra hoga!!!"

The old man mumbled in a feeble voice, "Shayad isiko tootke mohabbat karna bolte hai!!!" Baldev smiled hearing this, and then the old man surprised him with his next question, "Usse mohabbat karna chod kyun nahi dete tum?" Baldev answered with a gentle smile, "Ishq toh khuda ki rehmat hai na Chaachaji, woh milna aur na milne ka faisla naseeb karta hai!!! Jaise laal gulaab kaanton ke baawajood pyaar ki pehchaan ban jaati hai waise woh mere saath na rehkar bhi meri khamooshi ko awaaz deti hai!!! Maanta hoon kaante chubte bahut hai lekin woh jeene ka ehsaas bhi toh dete hai!!!" Baldev smiled like a besotted idiot all over again, "He knew that it is almost impossible for anyone to feel the depth of his pain. It is almost incomprehensible for others why he has built a wall around himself. It is just that he is a scarred soul!!!"

The old man said a little wearily, "Dard pyaar ka doosra naam hai!!! Mein bhagwaan se praarthaana karoonga ki woh aap dono ki Jodi salaamat rakhe!!" Baldev slightly bowed his head as if he has indeed accepted the blessings of the old man, he felt a hand on his head and Baldev's eyes glistened with tears of gratitude!!! "Shukriya Chaachaji ab mein nikaltoo hoon warna der ho jaani hai!!! Chai ka kitna hua bataayiye?" The old man gave a weak smile, "Nahi beta, jis din tumhaari duniya tumhare kadam se kadam milaake chalegi uss din mein le loonga paise!!!" Baldev could not help but touch his feet and seek blessings, "Ji mein zaroor yaad rakhunga aapko... Chalo phir jaake aate hai!!!"

Baldev glided away into his car like a feather and waved his hand to the old man!!! Baldev was glad that he would finally have all the night to himself where he can cuddle to the warmth of her memories. She was the drug for his broken heart and the fuel for his fiery ambitions!!!

"You are everything that made me who I am Veera!!!"

Baldev slightly turned the radio on and through it flew the lyrics...
