He asked...i agree...but sometimes...in our conversations...we take pauses at wrong places...and that alters the meaning of the whole thing...If u remember...ahead he asks something like Beeji aap aurat ho..aapko papaji kaise ijjat dete hain/thei...It was just a wrong framing of sentence...to bring humour...not to show Baldev dumb..

Next..why Veera taking tests...?You remember the scene when it all started...?????? Baldev threatened Veera that i would bring my parents home...At that moment...Baldev se peecha chhudaane ke liye Veera decided that i wiuld ask him to fulfill these three conditions... She thought...he would fail...and automatically it would get proved that he is not capable of becoming a husband...She is just trying to find out ways of getting rid of him...
