Baldev, Sarpanch track and my doubts - Page 4

Oh no im so late😲

I agree, I had lots of expectations from the Sarpanch track but I don't want to see Baldev going into this with his head in the clouds and being a complete mess. I want to see a tough competition between him and Ranvi, I want to see Baldev's character grow. Baldev not too long ago was all about proving to his father that he is not worthless, that he can be something, I want to see that return.

Post leap, the track that I have awaited the most is the Sarpanch elections. Mainly because being a huge RanDev fan, I have always loved their clashes in childhood and hoped to see those clashes intensify when they grow up. And until recently, I have never been disappointed.

Sarpanch election was supposed to be a contest between two head-strong individuals, both who are sympathetic towards the villagers but have poles-apart ways to deal with them. But recently, both Ranvi and Baldev's characters have seen a major shift. Ranvi has become less confident and more spineless, while Baldev has become more like a clown, thanks to the two lovely ladies in their lives😆 I am hoping that both these characters are redeemed in this Sarpanch track. Ranvi is supposed to be naive but not blind. Baldev is supposed to be innocent not a joker.

I am majorly disappointed with the way Baldev's character is shaping out. Even though he is an irresponsible guy, we shouldn't forget that he was the one who organised MKC on his own Let that Baldev make a comeback now. Just to show the opponent more powerful, you cannot make an already powerful character weak. Make Ranvi's character powerful but not at the expense of Baldev.

Surjeet Singh needs to make a comeback because only he can bring that fiercely ambitious Baldev back. Only he can bring out the various layers in Baldev

I agree that they need to bring back the old charm in both the characters which are completely forgoten in this nanad bhabhi drama
@Bold Red. He was atleast capable of organising it on his own. This Baldev has is jobless and just drinks tea. Again the ways of collecting money and the place where he conducted the chowki was wrong. I stiil remember the Baldev who confidently spoke to the pind people We never saw anything like that

SurJit Singh just disappeared. And with him the ambitious Baldev also disappeared. Now he just roams about Veera and jokes about hinself being a Sarpanch. They did not even show a proper SS-Baldev fall out.

CVs are not exactly trustworthy and frankly after seeing the way Ranvi's character has been horribly butchered, I have no faith in them. They have turned Baldev into a clown.. I can only hope that he gets his due in the Sarpanch track.

I'm waiting for SS's return as well. The central part of the Sarpanch track was SS and Baldev. Baldev based his actions on the base of his dreams. I really do want to see his character develop and not act like a silly person who just roams around tea stalls with his chamchas. I would prefer him joining hands with SS and actually DOING something in the whole drama, over seeing his character getting butchered. And please, no last minute hero! CVs have created a lot of hype regarding the Sarpanch track. I just hope it lives to the hype for the people who are waiting for Baldev's character to grow.

I agree. My interest in the Sarpanch track is only because of Baldev. His gray shades and SS-Baldev tashan/friendship is what I was waiting for. SS is nowhere in the picture. Baldev should do something rather than falling prey to his mother's kitchen politics😳 I don't mind Baldev joining hands with SS for some time. Anything to get him out of the clown mode. And if at all he is winning this, he shouldn't be a last minute hero with no explanation given to it.
Though Ranvi might win the elections, I expect this to be mostly a Baldev track which gives us some insight into his dreams and his passion for it. They have given enough explanation to everybody's dreams be it Veera, Ranvi or Gunjan's . But Baldev's is just restricted to his dialogues.
