I was avery disappointed with sampooran's reasoning..and was angry with Amrita also.
She did not want to destroy karthar's life by marrying him..but she wanted a child. too.
How could she just assume that Sampooran was unmarried?
all she wanted was a child to leave in this world..more than that she did not think of anything..
and sampooran,he gladly obliged her because she wanted a child before dying...shame on him.
Okay..if it was an unavoidable situation and if he was comforting her and unknowingly intimacy crept in and things happened
but here whatever he did,he did it knowingly,when he was in his full senses ..
Actually if I were in Ratan's place,I would have been more angry with him.
He could have told her that he was married.
If she were as brave a woman as sampooran portrayed through his letter,then she should have had the courage to tell that to her parents and to kartarr and withdraw from getting married..at least kartarr's mom wouldnt have died out of shock and amrita's family's respect would have been intact.
