having watched so many shows on TV over the years, Veera for sure has come into my life as a welcome change ... it brings out the innocence of a child with such simplicity I am bowled beyond words..
It didnt take me more than a minute to relate to Ranvijay-played by Bhavesh. The little wonder is single handedly carrying the show on his shoulders and its not every day that you see something that touches the inner most chords of your heart...
Trust me ... he is like a breath of fresh air, and the emotions I experience each time I watch these episodes cannot be put down in words.
If you read any other posts of mine on this forum, they will testify how I always have been a hard core love story fan! But show is just different... It talks about the most beautiful bond in this world- that of a brother and a sister.. and for now the sister has barely been around, but we still feel her presence.. through little Ranvi... He makes you want to have a brother like him.. I have a brother too, and he is very caring and loving towards me... Through Ranvi I live all those years of my life again when my little brother and I would bicker, argue but then stand up for one another when we needed eachother ... I remember the day he was born and was brought home, how I was barely three but I took him in my hands and my parents made him rest on my legs ... How every year I would cut his cake for him until he grew up to do it himself... How on Rakhee every year, though he would pretend not to do anything for me but still slip a gift under my pillow at mid-night, how when I went to study in college he would call up though he had nothing to say... How over the years though we stay in the same house, and perhaps never talk as much as we did any more ... We will love the fact that we are around the same space... How now that he lives with my mother in another city its Veera that reminds me I am a sister and that I have a brother!
Take a bow Waseem Sabir, cos you have brought out the nicest relationship in the world on screen with utmost honesty, sincerity and have made it a story worth watching!
Raghuveer Shekhawat for writing down lines, and thinking like a 8 year old...
Mamta Patnaik and Purnendu for coming up with such a brilliant concept... And last but not the least Star Plus for yet again living up to its name "Rishta Wahi Soch Nayee.."
Veera for me is a clear winner and Ranvijay my Crowned Hero!

Wonderful post. I agree with everything u've written about d show. Its very nice heart-touching show beautifully depicting d brother-sister relationship. Although every relationship is very special in its own way, but sibling relationship is very unique coz it begins 4rm childhood n grows with time.
I fell in love with Ranvi when I watched him in promo 4 d first time. Earlier I used 2 believe dat a brother can take d place of a father 4 his siblings, but I'd never imagined dat a brother can become a mother 2 his sister. D very concept of d show is highlighting dis fact in a very simple n subtle manner.
N Ranvi has already stolen my heart. He's d heart n soul of d show. Yes we cud feel d presence of his sis even b4 she came into d picture, it was through his yearning 4 a little sis, d letter he wrote 2 God, d way he negotiated his collection of bottle caps for a kid sis, d way he took away a baby 4rm d hospital.
N d way God granted his wish is equally special. Ranvi got a sis who shared his blood, but d baby belonged 2 another woman who was dying. It signified d fact dat d baby is destined 2 have Ranvi as her mother.
M a single child (daughter) 2 my parents n having watched Veera dis whole wk is making me yearn 4 an elder brother like Ranvi.
Whole team of Veera is doing a gr8 job.
It gud 2 know ur bond with ur brother. M sure every bro-sis duo will connect with d story of Veeran.

Very nice post and I completely agree with you.
I have a older brother and I am closer to him then my older sister. My brother and I always understood each other and get along very well too. He is always there for me no matter how far apart we are from each other.
It is a special relationship and I am glad that we finally have a story on this special brother/sister relationship.

I love this show alot especially the bro-sis love. I have an elder brother who is almost 5 yrs older than me . he is the best brother I have as he is always there for me as a fatherly figure -- giving me both brotherly and fatherly love and care as my father do not play any role in our lives.
