I know right! Really unexpected to see such a tone so quickly. I think that's one benefit of having the childhood backstory, it could be harder to sell this if they had just met as adults. Instead here we have a whole basis for ready made feeling already! Even if someone didn't actually watch the childhood portion, the sense of that history gives so much meaning and double meaning to their interactions.

You are so right Mina. They already have history so it's believable. I dont think Raja is acting. He really likes Rani. Did you his expression when Gayatri finally sang, he remembered her lips and eyes. I believe Raja saw her as a girl, not someone to harass!

Pre-leap Raja was shown as a sweet boy with a good heart. I am really hoping under "Sir"'s bad-boy airs, that good hearted Raja is still there! And if he is, a reunion with Rani could reform him from his spoiled brat ways really quickly, if they don't get caught up in more misunderstandings.
