Part 1
Kaal catches his son trying to escape from the palace with Swarna's daughter and hits him on the hand. Kaal warns him of chopping his hand off the next time he catches the two of them together.
Lakhan gets order of cutting hay. He spends day and night cutting hay. He deposits the money he makes in a small piggybank. Rani helps RajMata relax. Lakhan is working thru the night and RajMata asks him to take a break saying they dun need too much money, why work so hard. Lakhan doesnt listen. He notices Rani helping him too and he asks her not to worry saying its not her age to work. However, he injures his hand. Doc checks on him and says he needs rest and cant work. Rani is worried about RajMata's health and request the doc to keep her at work so she can earn money and get treatment for RajMata. Doc says the kind of money she needs only Palace can provide. Rani decides to go there.
Rani enters the palace and runs into Kaal's son, Yuvraj. He pushes her out of the palace and closes the door but Rani manages to sneak thru. She runs into a servant, Jumman who calls for guards. Rani bites his hand and runs. She bumps into Swarna who asks her what she is doing in the palace. She explains her problem. Swarna offers her money but Rani refuses to take and asks for some work. Swarna agrees to let her assist her in the kitchen for Rs. 10 but Rani says its too less and Swarna agrees to offers Rs. 30. Jumman is shocked. Rani is delighted. Rani's way of talking reminds Swarna of Gayatri and she smiles. Rani asks the matter and Swarna says you remind me of someone special.
RajMata is worried for Rani and looks to cook food but finds no rice. She is shattered.
Part 2
RajMata asks for plate of rice from neighbor. She offers for free but RajMata keeps her ear-ring as deposit. The neighbor suggests her to visit nearby center opened for women by the Government to find suitable work. RajMata considers the suggestion but asks the neighbor not to tell anything to Lakhan or Rani.
Part 3
The servant helps Rani enter the kitchen but she keeps blabbering and drives Jumman crazy. She asks about number of rooms in the palace.
Servant is struggling to fix a button on Kaal's sherwani and he fumes. He recollects the curse and fumes. Jumman tells Rani about Kaal's son, the Yuvraj and Rani teases him. She is called to clean the chairs of the dining table. Rani is cleaning the chairs when she notices Kaal and Badi Rani Maa. She is terrified and says Chudail.
Precap --- Rani-Kaal sit on either side of table. Rani is terrified. Kaal talks of nice smell of food but Rani is scared. Badi Rani Maa asks Kaal to eat at leisure but first sign a document.
