19th February: 2016: Written Update: Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

Ranaji introes his 2^nd wife, Rajeshwari to Gayatri's mom. She is shocked and hurt. Gayatri tries to silence her mom but Damini fumes on Ranaji for breaking her daughter apart. Ranaji asks what did he do. Damini says you made her a wife and she is a souten now. Rajeshwari says she is a bandi. RajMata shouts on her to shut up and says Gayatri is Ranaji's wife and Queen of Amirkot. Rajeshwari asks Ranaji to clear the air. Gayatri wonders why Ranaji has changed so much. Ranaji being under the spell of Rajeshwari says Gayatri is a Bandi. Damini slaps Ranaji. Gayatri is shocked. Guards point gun at Damini. Rajeshwari fumes on Damini for daring to raise her hand on her husband, the king of Amirkot. She says Damini surely deserves to be punished. She influences Ranaji again to payback for the slap. Rajeshwari says will settle this with Bandi. She tells Gayatri to take the punishment on herself which will save Damini from rotting in prison. Ranaji agrees with Rajeshwari. All are shocked. Bari Rani Maa is delighted. Ranaji asks Rajeshwari what punishment to give to Gayatri. She suggests to ask Gayatri to clean his shoes in front of her family. Ranaji agrees with Rajeshwari. RajMata fumes on Ranaji. She says she wont let Gayatri be insulted. Rajeshwari threatens RajMata who challenges her back. Gayatri stops RajMata and accepts the punishment.

Gayatri shown cleaning Ranajis dirty feet. All are in tears except Bari Rani Maa and Rajeshwari. Gayatri looks at Ranaji ruing that she has no idea why he is doing this but that he is her hubby and saving her repute is his duty. Lets see how he stays quiet seeing his wife being insulted. Rajeshwari challenges Gayatri saying see your arrogant head had to bow down in front of all. Gayatri says mera sur sabke samne jhuka hai lekin sabke aage nahi. Mera sur sirf Ranaji ke aage jhuka hai. Bowing ones head in front of ones hubby is nothing insulting. Ranaji had looked after me when i was sick, today he is sick so am looking after him. Gayatri suspects something is wrong with Ranaji and swears to take care of him. She says sindoor bazaar me bikta hoga, sanskar nahi. Rajeshwari tells Ranaji to BREAK the Bandi.. to punish her even more. He asks Rajeshwari what else. Gayatri is shocked. Rajeshwari tells Gayatri to drink the dirty water from cleaning his feet. Everyone is shocked and appalled. RajMata slaps Rajeshwari. Rajeshwari laughs maniacally & challenges RajaMata that her slap will hit both Gayatri and RajMata's soul.

Ranaji does as Rajeshwari asks him to do. Damini stops Gayatri and says if your dad were here, he did have shook this palace. Damini says she wont let Govind Seth's daughter be insulted. She accepts any punishment. Gayatri says this is not a test of me or my duty as a wife, this is the last test of OUR LOVE, Ranaji-Gayatris love. Ranaji stares quietly. Gayatri heads forward and says will drink this poison for you but is our love so weak that you will let me drink this poison. Gayatri tells Ranaji this is not my test but it is your test, your love for me. Bari Rani Maa smirks till now your repute was at stake, now your love is at stake too. After today all this talk of true love will end. The power of your love is nothing in front of the power of my hypnosis. Gayatri picks up the vessel and is about to drink from it when the doors of the palace open and a heavy wind blows. The light shines from Gayatri's diamond bangle and falls on Ranaji's eye breaking Rajeshwari's hypnosis on him. Ranaji rushes and pushes the vessel off Gayatri. Bari Rani Maa fumes that her trick failed again. Ranaji asks what is going on. Damini asks RajMata as if Ranaji just woke up. She says someone has cast a spell on Ranaji. Swarna tells Gayatri that her injury is healing itself. Ranaji says this is no magic. There are herbs in the water which has helped to cure Ranaji. He escorts Gayatri to the room else she will catch cold. Gayatri looks at him as if in a daze.
