The problem here is they didn't expect this kind of backlash from the viewers. First of all they simply cut the roots of this story with that idiotic twist of RNJ's lineage. They never expected that the audiences were well connected to the characters of RNJ n RM. They lost a major set of viewers with that twist.

On top of that they thought this Rags n BRM combo may bring the young fans who want to c RGD's tashn with BRM. But they again failed to gauge the fans' reaction.

If they have to rectify the mistakes, they have to do some thing about the RNJ's lineage. So they r buying some time with all these things. They have to go there a.s.a.p. if they want to save their show.

Actually if u c the TRPs, all the shows except top 3 r doing relatively poorly. In this particular time slot the other two r also not doing well. So if they throw out this Rags babe n bring some positivity, they have chances. First of all they have to redeem the two important characters the Mother n Son duo.😉

I was gayab for more than a month, basically since they killed Ranaji for me (Avdesh track), took a break, became detached and then resumed watching out of habit with zero expectation, just because I didn't want to watch something else and had to focus on some real life matters, two days back felt like posting and what timing! just few hours after that, I got the news of the shaadi actually taking place!!

How many times can they kill a character?! Story anyways doesn't make sense but at times when characters make some sense you still tune in to watch from time to time, but here everything goes from bad to worse. All this being said I liked some angst between the leads before the shaadi though it was based on illogical and forced situations and stances! What I loved most is Gayatri's breakdown and Ranaji's frustration

You know in my case I'm just in a phase where I just don't feel like watching anything! I bought some good novels full of suspense

ETR2 is junk food or maybe worst nothing healthy! but I enjoy old episodes, huge difference, irony is that people used to love both Ranaji and Gayatri (I checked old posts from the forum😆 ) and adjectives like smart were used to describe Ranaji and Gayatri used to do some nautanki 😆 and their jodi was loved I came across a poll where people voted for their jodi, but they butchered characters so quickly! and people forgot how characters used to be especially Ranaji's! Cvs/channel or whoever is responsible for story or imposing things on it made people lose connect to the male lead while he was quite loved in the first episodes! even Gayatri lost all her nuances! posts were fun back then

I just feel sorry that some think that Ranaji's character was weak from the very beginning!
I believe in fairness even if things go very wrong one should point things fairly positive and negative things equally!

But obviously makers are the ones to blame for making people disconnect!

Moral of the story, enjoy the leads and their acting and vent out and protest when it the story and characters become unrelatable. This is the only serial I watch too/ follow with WU's when the going gets tough.

Not so sure Genny! I might be shallow at times but I can't turn blind, minimum of content and characterization are required for me!
