I've lots of respect for Ekta as a biz woman. She is way way ahead of all the producers put together. I'm sure if she was given this cast and this concept she would've turned this show a super hit and ran it for next 5 years.
I think the channel will step in and force them to mend their ways and curb the off-screen politics only when it starts impacting their revenue. If this show shuts down due to petty politics, it'll be third in a row for Chee. They have to do something about it. This is no way to run a business, forget about entertaining or nurturing art.
They just use popular actors to create the buzz and then treat them like dirt, happened with male actors in QH and now with DD and earlier with Rachana,tho' she was less known then.
More than anything, the actress and mommy put me off yesterday by the kind of the languages they used yesterday..I know they are getting bashed continuously, but, instead of taking the things in a dignified way, they were taking digs at DD..
Two days back itself, this anjum had tweeted her pic with D saying something like girl crush and all, and the next day she takes dig on her...
After seeing anjum's tweet i realized how matured D and Sid are..
Sid got bashing from the beginning of the show, but, the guy, never took those things seriously..
And D, the girl got the worst amount of bashings in JDJ, people humiliated her, discusssed her body parts, and they used such disgusting comments, which i don't even want to take from my mouth..but poor girl, didn't even say anything about it...
