I think yes

Every episode every storyline in etr2 we know what's going on and where the story is headed before hand and what the outcome is of each episode and therefore the quality is reduced and suspense of what is going to happen next is reduced and viewers make their mind up when to or not to watch

The fact is simple - the whole storyline is known to viewers so what's the point watching it may as well make it a book rather than a tv show .

I think NO.

It spares the viewers lot of headache and let them invest their time elsewhere.

TRPs will fall or raise without the spoilers. It's only a section of audience who chase spoilers and decide to watch or not based on them.
The gullible TRP folks have their own antenna & will decide to watch based on what they see.

I agree...I honestly don't think the typical TRP crowd spends enough time online to chase after spoilers...

Secondly, if a track appeals, people will watch even if they know what is to happen...

It is not as if TRP shows are all whodunnits...the same saas-bahu crap is peddled and people consume it so long as it is entertainingly presented..

Thirdly, spoilers are hardly peculiar to ETR...every show releases spoilers...even the ones topping the TRP charts...

I think what is ruining the show and bringing down TRPs is hardly external...!

If well orchestrated and misleading promos can't rope in the viewers then spoilers watched by few shouldn't keep them away imo.
