Rajmata is worried. Kuvarji is pacing the hall. Gayatri asks Rajmata which rights Avadhesh was talking about. Rajmata says in politics, rights arent asked for but snatched away. Many years ago when Ameerkot was founded, Avadhesh's great grandfather challenged Ranaji's great grandfather. Though they lost that battle but Avadhesh's father again tried to challenge Ameerkot's throne & now Avadhesh is doing the same. She says the warriors of Chauhan pedigree are very clever & brave. They dont follow any rules of war. Ranaji will fight this war but with war ethics conforming to Rajputs whereas Avadhesh wont fight clean. He'll fight to win only; wont heed any rules. Gayatri is worried for Ranaji & says she wont let him fight this war with Avadhesh. Rajmata goes after her. Kokila gets happy thinking Avadhesh will kill Ranaji. Kuvarji says first time he isnt able to decide if he wants Ranaji to win or lose. Kokila asks how will Ranaji's defeat affect them. Kuvarji says its what he isnt able to determine coz sometimes a known rival proves better than unknown friend but he doesnt know yet whether Avadhesh is friend or enemy. He tells Kokila that tomorrow's fight will decide not only Ranaji's fate but theirs too. Kokila gets worried & prays.
Ranaji is pacing the corridor in anger recalling Avadhesh's provocative words. He takes his sword out of the scabbard & thrusts with such force that it cuts a statue placed there. Gayatri comes there terrified & tells him that he wont fight this war tomorrow. She says she doesnt doubt his sword or valor but.. Ranaji says there is no 'but' when there's trust. He tells her that he knows she is worried for him but he isnt just her husband but a King too whose responsibility is to uphold his kingdom's honor. A wife can object her husband's decision & has all the rights to compel him to change it but a Queen cant go against King's decision. He leaves. Gayatri is in tears.
Rajmata is tensed. Kuvarji & Kokila come there & ask about Ranaji. Rajmata taunts them that Ranaji has gone on a pilgrimage to pray God to grant some wit to Kokila! She says he is preparing for tomorrow's challenge. Kuvarji asks her to calm down. He says they need to stay united at this time & extends his support to Ranaji. A guard comes with imp. message for Rajmata. Rajmata says she is busy. Guard says its about Yashoda. Kuvarji & Kokila are scared. Rajmata asks details. Guard says Yashoda's deadbody is found in a river this morning. Kokila recalls how she killed Yashoda & starts hiccuping. Rajmata is shocked and goes with the guard. Frightened K & K follow her. Rajmata checks Yashoda's deadbody and sees the wound on throat. She says Yashoda's niece had come to inform her that Yashoda had gone to her village. Kuvarji starts his drama that Yashoda's relatives didnt even bother to perform her last rites and threw her deadbody in river but they'll perform the funeral rites with full royal honours coz she was Rajmata's confidante afterall. He orders the guards to take the deadbody but Rajmata stops them. She suspects Yashoda was murdered as she saw a wound on her throat resulting from piercing by some pointed object. She orders the guards to get all details about Yashoda's husband & niece and not to inform anything about this to Ranaji as she herself will solve the mystery.
K & K come to their room. Kokila is scared & starts blabbering & suggests Kuvarji to run away. But the latter refutes and says he'll turn the feud b/w Ranaji & Avadhesh into his gain.
Guard informs Rajmata that Yashoda's husband is living happily in village and they dont have any niece or relatives. Rajmata wonders who was that veiled woman who introduced herself as Yashoda's niece & informed about Yashoda's sudden visit to her village. A doctor comes & informs Rajmata that he has examined Yashoda's deadbody and the wound is from some small pointed object. Rajmata suspects it could be from Hairpin. Dr. nods. Rajmata comes to K & K. She asks Kuvarji which niece of Yashoda he had brought as Yashoda didnt have any niece. Kokila starts hiccuping again. Kuvarji denies knowing any niece of Yashoda. Rajmata says she feels he is hiding something from her. He says he considers her his own but she doesnt trust him. She doesnt have any proof that he brought Yashoda's niece to her & there cant be any proof as lies have no proof & no base. He wished he could slit his chest open and show her how much love & loyalty he harbors for her. Rajmata smirks & says if need arises, she would slit his chest open & check his loyalty towards her. Looking at Kokila she says Yashoda has been murdered & there must be some proof. K & K are scared.

It's morning. Avadhesh is shown bathing with milk. He calls himself the envoy of death and says he worships only the God of death 'Bhairav'. He thinks Indravadan wont be able to defeat him.
Ranaji & Rajmata are praying. She gives him the sword and says its not just a sword but the valor, honor and legacy of Ameerkot. His great grandfather founded Ameerkot with the very sword and using the very sword he has to uphold the honor of his ancestors. Ranaji says Rajput can sacrifice his life but never concede defeat. He touches her feet. She blesses him for victory. Gayatri comes there with aarti thali. Ranaji says aarti holds no meaning when she doesnt have faith in him.

Ranaji turns to leave but Rajmata says he cant stop Gayatri from performing her duties. He says he wont and turns to Gayatri. She does his aarti & tilak & ties Rakshasootra on his wrist. She says this flimsy thread when tied with faith becomes unbreakable. It will protect him & remind him that he has to come back to protect her. Ranaji says today he will fight not to defeat the enemy but to win his Queen's trust and leaves. The elderly man helps Avadhesh get ready for the battle. Gayatri goes after Ranaji but Rajmata stops her saying Rajputani doesnt go to battlefield but wearing her bridal dress prays for her husband to return victorious and commits Jauhar(suicide) if husband dies in the battle, before the invader can lay hand on her. She gives her a bottle of poison & leaves. Gayatri is in tears.

Duel going on b/w Ranaji & Avadhesh. Gayatri adorned like a bride prays Ma Durga for Ranaji's life & victory. Ranaji falls on floor & Avadhesh is about to spear him in chest. Gayatri reaches there & screams for Ranaji.
