I think RNJi is coming across as weak and indecisive because he is taking time and trying to be fair to both parties involved--Sula and G, BRM and RM. His judgement call is not right there but the principle/rule book is followed. He tries to be the plumbline making sure the scales are even. Tough job,eh.without having to take sides.
The other grouse we have against him is he is not proactive, does not investigate fishy matters, just believes what he sees.
G's case, he did ask swarna, his mom, BRM. They made it seem like an accident, the only person who had info was RM and she did not voice her doubts and fears, nor tell him about their plan,
I would fault the cv's for going for the bigger drama and not closing the loopholes. But that does not make him weak or not in love.
His giving the throne to Kchacha is protocol, next in line to the throne.
I would say RNJ is a good King with a heart.He recognised the unshed tears in the eyes of his soldier , one among many standing in the line, and went to investigate, he saved an unknown girl from drowning, he gave in to marry a girl he did not know, for financial reasons, to save his kingdom and then did not think twice to give up that kingdom for the same girl he married to estabilish that she is not second wife but is his one and only wife.
Thats our RNJi for us, take him or leave him.
