Wondering why CV ended BRM ka drama so early????
They could have scared her with Gayu ka Bhoot for a good 2/3 weeks & declare her as mentally unstable & give a few Beejli ke Jhaatka . Gayu could have her sweet revenge from BRM taking all her time. It was just too fast to show her as the culprit.

The CV knows only to rush the tracks. 🤢

Thanks, Naj.

Bertie,

I like Sid's sense of humour and chalta hai attitude.😆 He is emotionally invested in his character, yet detached to a certain extent...a soap is a soap for him...he is not possessive of his charac ter per se...a very healthy trait to have in desi tv.😉

He would go crazy if he were, Chick 😉😆

He seems very likable...well read, well spoken, smart and sensible...not the usual vainglorious or overtly modest TV actor...!

As an actor, he probably wouldn't complain even because he is not so bothered about the overall logic...more with his character and the scope to perform...yesterday was one of those days when he got to display his range...

More than his reaction on seeing the body etc, I was moved when he touched the corpse one last time before putting it to fire...his expression was killer there..!

@bold I agree with u on this. I actually felt his passionate love n longing for his lady love in that pyre scene. SK is at his best in that scene. He showed the restrained emotions of RNJi very beautifully with that one touch which make u feel the intensity of his love. RNJi wants bring her back even from there if possible. That n those kind of little improvisations really make the scene more beautiful n show the caliber of the actor. Clap

I also think Sid makes good choices (maybe), I mean he chose the character of a king in the pre-independance era afterall, so he kind of made one of the best choices from the available lot of things offered in TV, and someone mentionned that he said he does TV only when he needs money, so fair enough, before he portrayed a vampire, a director also I guess not the usual business man or adarsh beta!

How things would be in the future regarding characters ya story is something unpredictable in TV industry which is ruled by TRPs!!!

Neither is my husband my teacher nor am I his although we learn from each other ...frequently he makes mistakes and I try and help in course correction...similarly, when I make mistakes, my husband steps in to save the situation and give me clarity...this is what a partnership is about, a marriage is about...

Why are marriages and relationships on TV portrayed in such a skewed manner? Why are men such clueless idiots and women such powerhouses of intelligence, cunning, smarts and of course self-effacement?

I stayed away from TV shows just for this reason. Since this was about a King, I thought there was no way they could turn him into a desi TV beta? It appears that I have been proved spectacularly wrong!

When a beta falls, he is still a beta! But when a King falls, it just makes everything so much worse and ugly!

Why make him out into a virtuous King whose heart beat for his subjects? Even when he left for the war, one could say that he was taking the place of one of the soldiers in his army. He fought shoulder to shoulder with his men. He may have done it even if S had been alive! When he returned, he still took charge of his responsibilities. He had trusted his mother to do right by the kingdom but found she had been misled by the Kunwars. He did not rant or rave but merely told her that he would now take over and do what was right! His devotion to his dead wife was the corner stone of his personal space and he compromised on that for the sake of his kingdom and the word of his mother!

He was impulsive in reacting to G but never on matters of the State. If you describe the act of a soldier in going to fight a war, it would be both tragic and unfair! Alexander was away from his Kingdom and fighting to expand it all the time. He was not called a runaway emperor. At least RNJ had noble intentions. His idea was not to expand his kingdom but fight against evil. The war was against Hitler, and as a British colony, India was part of the British led front. So he fought the war as was his duty and also because the war was just and fair because the enemy was evil and needed to be put down!

A man like that would hand over the reins of his Kingdom to his corrupt uncle? Hardly a few days ago, he chose to leave his Kingdom in the name of his love for his wife. But he chose to leave it in the hands of his mother. Nobody questioned his act then because he was trying to do right by both his wife and the Kingdom.

With the single act of making him leave the kingdom in the hands of his uncle, the writers have butchered RNJ beyond redemption. He stood with hands folded in front of a greedy man, a man he knew to be evil and exploitative, and begged him to wear the crown for his sake and Amerkot's sake? And I am supposed to believe that this man is a hero and invest in his love story? Sure, when pigs fly!

I am disappointed and depressed beyond words! I am still hoping beyond hope that there will be a twist. That there is no way RNJ can hand over the kingdom to Kunwar Chacha! That there is no way he can just brush the incident of the drowning under the carpet and focus on his personal grief! There has been an accidental death and it is the duty of a King to order an inquiry. He cannot, simply cannot, accept explanations at face value. Even if he did at that point, how would he walk away from the Kingdom without knowing the truth!

I know people who have lost loved ones in strange circumstances and have simply not been able to rest until they knew how and why things had happened the way they had. Call it morbid but the human mind is like a dog with a bone. It is always looking for answers.

I don't know about the others, but for me RNJ can never be redeemed if they continue in this vein!

@Bert - totally get your disappointment but chill yaar...lets consider the story from before when the "girl who cannot act" got in to when the "joker faced granny" was put in jail/banished a bad dream (more like nightmare😒) and just move on. If I start the rant on the butchering of RNG's character I swear I'd just strangle the CVs.😡
Lets just celebrate our shallow selves and have happy thoughts of RNG in white (or in my case the Dhoti scene). 😆
My 2 cents - the watching once a week in FF mode to just catch up to the story REALLY helped 👍🏼

I watched the episode again...putting aside all my expectations and prejudices...
I still cannot digest the fact that he asked Kunwar Chacha to become King...

That apart, flawless he was...Got to give it to Sid...he was so sober, so understated and yet his pain was so poignant and powerful..he made me shed a tear for RNJ's pain...the guy deserves a round of applause for sure...to take me beyond the inconsistencies, beyond the butchering and still make me feel...!

Drashti played dead extremely convincingly too...real good job there...!

A well directed episode minus the glaring flaw of making RNJ hand over the crown to KC...

But I am in a dilemma here...

I don't want him to be a fool...but I don't want his emotions to be fake either...that would take it away in my opinion...

Can he believe G is really dead...but still give KC the crown as part of a plan? I would like that...but else, it is okay...I will believe he was emotionally distraught and made a stupid decision...

Way better than having to believe that he faked everything..!

Yes Simran, I second that...And since our ETR2 CVs treat us with such TRP seeking logic, I for one will not compain if it rains INSIDE the palace when they do this dance either !!! 😆

Or may be there was a trapdoor in the pyre through which Gayathri escaped the fire. I do think both RM & G knew BRM will do something to fail Gayathri's plans and also she was after Gayathri.

The way she reacted to the Kundali is only because she forgot that BRM may use that as a weapon to kill RNj's wives (even if required in future as well).

If RM had believed in G's death, she would have been mourning in her room than keep an eye on BRM and her troop.

For i care, they were (RM & G) already ready with corpse with Gayathri's mask in teh well (tied to something so that it doesn't float before the scheduled time. And there might have been an oxygen mask and other required equipments to keep Gayathri safe) So once the servants picked up the body and every one got in, Gayathri silently got out of the well and entered her hide out. And we may see (may be in FB) that Rm served her food later. The worst thing will be if tehy show there was a trap door under the well which open up at a distant place, may be in a forest and gayathri used that trap door to come out of the well

Have to 👏 your imagination !!

I agree too ...
For a man who has loved and lost once to actually "act" the part of losing his love the second time does not sit very well with me at all ...
I would rather it be a stupid decision (asking chacha to be king) he made as he wallowed in grief ... so what if he is king, he is a human first ...
