Today the masterstroke belongs to Gayetri, hence MistressStroke. Take a bow, Queen Gayetri. Take a bow...

Today Gayetri showed how capable she is of being a Queen. You see Rana was playing it safe ever since Sulakshana came. So he needed a jolt (preferably something with shock factor of 740 volt of electric current) to get him to take a stand.

By agreeing to be a maid, she forced Rana to take a stand. Because he can't continue to hoodwink her with, "You are my wife" crap (read my Masterstroke at http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4506720) when he is really living with two wives.

I thought Gayetri was idiot in love because she didn't ask enough question, but I take it all back. She is a very smart lady and a true Queen!!!

If fake Sulakshana thought that threatening Rana will get any result, she is wrong. It won't work when Rana no longer has feelings for her. It would have worked before he fell for Gayetri. But not now when Gayetri has turned into the Queen from the pawn.

This serial is getting my blood heat up. I like strong women character who doesn't take bull and isn't self-sacrificing morons. I thought Gayetri was one of the later, but she proved me wrong and boy, am I happy for that or what?

There is no bigger power than soft power. Ladies and gentlemen, take lessons from Diplomacy - 201. If someone is not doing what you want them to do, create a situation where if they don't take action, their honour and words will be called into question.

Ranaji, your mother chose a spectacular Queen for you. If anyone can save your kingdom from bankruptcy, it's her and she doesn't need her father's backing for it.

even i agree after reading spoiler i was angry how can CV's making strong Gayatri's character so mahan,no self respect but today we got what exactly she wants doing this ...if rana can blackmail her burning hand why cant she get her due respect and right ...happy rajmata back ...happy diwali

So relieved the emotional blackmail of Ranaji is just buying him a little time to make a decision and Rani gayatri made her self clear that she is not compromising.

She loves Rana for sure but surely not at the cost of her self respect.

Personally I think Ranaji's lack of action made her snap because you get more angry when someone close to you doesn't come through for you. She had no expectations from Sulakshana anyway.

But whatever made her stand her ground, the point is that she didn't settle for something she didn't believe in. She didn't want to share her husband, she still isn't prepare to compromise on that.

Today when Sulakshana said that Gayetri is second wife, I expected Rana to say, "No, she is my only wife". I mean that's the bull he fed to Gayetri right? That's the point I raised in my Masterstroke post.

He can't make one woman Queen and himself remain King without letting the said Queen be his wife.

It's like saying oh Ms. Y, you are my wife but the lady who is living with us, is Mrs. X and I'm Mr. X. Too bad, you can't be Mrs. X while she is here. But don't worry, even though she will accompany me every public function by my side as Mrs. X, you are my wife.

Yeah right. Who are you kidding? I am glad Gayetri didn't fell for that crap.

Gayatri is a very intelligent girl and she did this to make a point for Rana ji...choose me as your wife or see me as your wife's maid BRAVO!

And not only that, be prepared to be humiliated as well seeing how little your words spoken in private are worth when not backed up in public.

Initially I was worried about CVs turning Gayatri into a weak woman but I am happy to be proven wrong. Gayatri's dialogues today were spot on and she really got Rana ji thinking. I liked her taunt - at least SHE can take a stand. And the look in Rana ji's eyes said it all. Gayatri has been pushed to the limits by Rana ji's sluggish approach.

I know we (viewers in general) have complained that Rana ji is passive. But that is how he is by nature...and it's also precisely why he needs his Queen, Gayatri. She will inspire and ignite the fire within him. He needs her!

And I'm pleased that Rana ji acknowledges Gayatri as his companion before knowing the truth about Sulakshana. As a viewer I take heart from the fact that Rana ji would have chosen Gayatri even if the real Sulakshana had re-entred their lives.

I'd have been happier if Ranaji had made his choices before Sulakshana behaved like jerk. Then the choice wasn't really between Sulakshana and Gayetri. The decision was between cruel Sulakshana and tortured Gayetri. It's kind of clear cut at that point because even if he still had feelings for Sulakshana and felt nothing but obligation for Gayetri, he would still have to choose Gayetri because Sulakshana was wrong and Gayetri was not.

It doesn't show his love, it shows that given an easy choice, he can take a stand. I'd rather he had taken stand for his love and growing feelings for Gayetri regardless whether Sulakshana was jerk or not.
