Beautiful choice of song- so soothing...it flows..like their love story, in spite of the hurdles.

Really don't know how to describe what I felt, watching the first half...as they spent the night away from each other. It was too sweet and painful.

Two lines that stood out for me-

Tu hoga zara pagal, tune mujhko hai chuna- She was mad not to leave him- she had a choice, she chose him.

Ki aisa beparwah man pehle toh na tha- He walks out of the breakfast, politely excusing himself...he doesn't care about what Sulakshna must feel ...

Chittiyon ko jaise mil gaya, ek naya sa pata- the way he walked towards his destination...👏

Another jewel in the crown! 👏

So, I finally had the opportunity to view it. Very well-conceived, Shweta.

On my second viewing, I was moved to view this VM and the scenes you incorporated purely from the perspective of Ranaji, since we are often denied his views in this show.

Below are my thoughts from that perspective.

Hmm ... so, that's what Ranaji was thinking of while he stared into the night.

• He recalls his vow to Gayatri -- how no one would come between them.

• He then recalls how, in his moment of need, she stepped forward to come between them. By foolishly claiming that she is the wife of his friend. If the situation had permitted levity, he would have wondered if she was referring to being the wife of his balsakha. She is an idiot, of course. How long can such a lie last?

• He then recalls how she lay down her arms in her battle against him when he declared that he too had fasted. And then how she insisted that he too break his fast.

And, finally, as he views her stand in solitary isolation at the lakeside and joins her, he is hit by the transition of that child woman, an unabashed fan of those romantic fairy tale novels involving characters such as Amrapali and Charudutt, to the mature woman, who told him in no uncertain terms that she would not be a second wife.

How could he not be entangled by those threads? He had to stop her from leaving him, of course! Using those very threads that bound him to her. If he was bound, more so was she.

Homeland is on my list to watch. Currently I am able to watch only one desi and one angrezi show. You know which ones😆

Countdown to 9 pm. Last week's precap proved Liz-Tom are such duffers. Oh well, Red to rescue.

BTW - did you find any material this week and last week for a new VM?😃
