• First off, the scary montage they are using ...I really wonder what's in store. I understand this is Raaz Mahal and not purely Raj Mahal😆...I guess that is basic premise of the serial. But what about my love story!! 😕
• Screen time of the leads together alone, 3 minutes! Not done. Plus, we had Ranaji asking G if she loved him. Quite unnecessary, her loving him was never in doubt. He was the one who asked for time. So that scene was not in sync. He has never confessed that he loves her. He is decent and does not want to hurt her, he cares for her. Is there anything more to his feelings? Like that overwhelming, all consuming love he said he felt for Sula?
• All the talk about Rani versus patni is confusing. G gives up her rights as the Queen, to make things easy for him, but leaves the decision of patni to him, what does that mean? Will she remain as his wife, even if Sula is crowned as Queen??
• Of course, at the end, she decides she cannot / will not be his second wife, and so will relinquish her rights as his wife as well. For once, I am happy that the FL is taking a firm stand on this, though she has always been persuaded by Ranaji to stay back. Tomorrow's pre-cap is yet another indication that she will not be able to leave.
• Am sorry to say, Ranaji's stand is confusing. Now he cannot bear Sula holding him? Is it just guilt he feels because G was standing and shedding tears? Why is he not able to tell BRM that he cares for G. Is he embarrassed that he's out of love??
• RM is a bystander in this track, maybe she will come in when the parda faash track begins?

TO be honest, i did'nt think yesterday deserved a review, it was a filler episode, but if the CVs are stalking, it's good to give them our impressions. I badly want this serial to do well.

RNJ is in love with G ...there is no confusion there...the conflict is now between the King and the husband...but there is a contradiction there too...if she is not his wife, she cannot be Queen..Sulakshana I mean...

I think it is a complete role reversal here...when he told G that she could be his queen but S would always be his love and his wife...

Now as a King, he has no choice but to accept S's claim to be Queen by virtue of her seniority!

But he says he cannot give her a place in his heart anymore because G completely occupies it...

In my opinion, this entire track is about how RNJ comes to terms with the fact that he has moved so far away from his memories of his past that it does not bother him even when it manifests itself before him in a physical form...the conflict is more about duty than love...

It is quite real actually...you obsess over something so much that it seems almost insurmountable...and then, suddenly one day, you turn back and wonder why you made such a big deal about nothing...!

If you note the dialogue RNJ spoke yesterday, he said...I cannot break G's heart...but I cannot ignore Sulakshana's claim either...

He worries about G's heart...and Sulakshana's claim...not over him but over the throne...!
