I hope we are not calling this a polygamy track anymore...it is lets torture RNJ and make G the detective' track.

I liked the actress playing the impostor- very good casting there. I like Jayna too...I feel she carries off the royal masked look quite well...liked her in the few instances she slipped up..all done well, if we let go off the logic... BRM takes off her mask for the benefit of the audience..so she was a doosri beevi too..and never felt loved... interesting. Suddenly the ghoonghat lady looks shorter...hmm..😆

The love story as such...I have not gone for the remote so far...I hope the show closes down before it gets to that. There are so many things I love about this show, besides the actors.

So what happens when a man who has mourned his dead wife for 6 long years decides to move on, only to find her back when he has truly moved on!

RNJ opened his heart to his grandmother- something he could not convince Gayatri about with mere words. He knows he has moved on- he has accepted Gayatri. She completes him...what he has felt in the past few days has connected their souls- he dare not deny that!

But what of the first wife?- who is also the Queen of the land...how can he deny her the crown that was rightfully hers when she is back? He had to be fair to her too...

Gayatri sees his dilemma and solves it for him...she never wanted the crown..The queen steps down for another...and she reminds him that the wife'd never tolerate another woman in her man's life.

I liked the coronation ceremony..except for Wilkinson who gets on my nerves...

Sulakshna plays her part well...when she touches RNJ's feet in the public, he cannot walk away...

Gayatri is being pulled in two directions too- self respect on one side and love for a man who asks her to trust him, on another...

At the picnic she had told him she wouldn't be able to give him more time...seeing him with her does that to her. But his love held her back..That breakdown scene was done pretty well, I felt. Gayatri runs at his voice the composure she has held on to for so long gives away as she sobs in his arms...Ranaji can only hold her and console her- he has to set this right...somehow.

There is no right way to go about this, since one of the parties is bent on being selfish. The coronation happens...with political pressures and with Gayatri's permission. But Gayatri realises how this has only complicated the matters further...she has not just stepped down from the throne..she has ceased becoming his queen. She was only going to be the doosri beevi from this moment on...Ranaji got his first love. and she accepts her fate which has always played havoc in her life. It is as if these few days didn't exist at all. But she cannot give up her self respect and decides to let go off her feelings that just seem to tie her into a knot.

Ranaji: Aap Indravardhan ko jaanti hai..Humein sirf ek jeevan saathi chahiye...Aap humein chhodke mat jaayiye..Aapko hamare pyar pe vishwas hai? The only option Ranaji has, is to step down from the throne and leave the country with Gayatri...but when his people need him so much and the British are waiting to loot them, can he turn away from his responsibilities to the people?

Swarna and Lakhan seem to be on the right track, though I have no clue if these kind of tractors existed then...turning blind eyes, because I enjoy seeing these two actors together. That look in his eyes as he stares at her looking up from the hay stack...he looks smitten. I hope no one bashes him...Have a real soft corner for this guy as an actor. 😉😆 (Resented this guy as the third angle in a QH parallel track...but applauded his performance as an actor there.😳)

• First off, the scary montage they are using ...I really wonder what's in store. I understand this is Raaz Mahal and not purely Raj Mahal😆...I guess that is basic premise of the serial. But what about my love story!! 😕
• Screen time of the leads together alone, 3 minutes! Not done. Plus, we had Ranaji asking G if she loved him. Quite unnecessary, her loving him was never in doubt. He was the one who asked for time. So that scene was not in sync. He has never confessed that he loves her. He is decent and does not want to hurt her, he cares for her. Is there anything more to his feelings? Like that overwhelming, all consuming love he said he felt for Sula?
• All the talk about Rani versus patni is confusing. G gives up her rights as the Queen, to make things easy for him, but leaves the decision of patni to him, what does that mean? Will she remain as his wife, even if Sula is crowned as Queen??
• Of course, at the end, she decides she cannot / will not be his second wife, and so will relinquish her rights as his wife as well. For once, I am happy that the FL is taking a firm stand on this, though she has always been persuaded by Ranaji to stay back. Tomorrow's pre-cap is yet another indication that she will not be able to leave.
• Am sorry to say, Ranaji's stand is confusing. Now he cannot bear Sula holding him? Is it just guilt he feels because G was standing and shedding tears? Why is he not able to tell BRM that he cares for G. Is he embarrassed that he's out of love??
• RM is a bystander in this track, maybe she will come in when the parda faash track begins?
