I had to make this post today! I am not a fan but what I saw yesterday pushed me to this!
How courageous and professional of Drashti to gift us with a display of honest sensuality and emotion yesterday. As a recently married female actor, there must be so many constraints that she faces. Even male actors fuss about on screen intimacy and here is this girl who has the guts to portray sensuality with honesty!
Her expressions were spot on, her wonder and excitement at plunging into a new realm and her almost innocent coquetry as she tried to invite her husband to share this experience with her!
The dori scene had emboldened her because she had seen the desire in his eyes. It gave her the courage to make a more open expression of her feelings and she did. Drashti did it beautifully! It was a scene that could've gone wrong if she had got the balance wrong! But get it right she did!
And credit must be given to Sid as well. Unless a female actor completely trusts her co-star and shares a comfort zone with him, it would be very difficult for her to perform such scenes. The trust and compatibility between Sid and DD was evident here because the scene appeared to flow so naturally, without a hint of artifice or faking!
Kudos Drashti! Way to go, girl!
