Good to read your take...and it more or less matches mine...so a high five for that..or a same pinch...

G was like this bird testing its wings...she was not sure she could take flight but she wanted to try...and RNJ was waiting for that signal...he wanted to know she was ready and willing to take it further...when she backed away after he gripped her hand passionately, he politely turned away...but the smile on his face when she put that necklace on his shoulder..it was delightful to watch..and of course we know what followed...G is very competitive by nature...she will never back away even when she knows she is out of depth...even when she laughingly shook her head over the kamarbandh, it was more a

"You wouldn't dare, would you?" rather than a "No"...

On the car scene, she was OTT for sure...but I forgave her because she did so well in the romantic scene 😆

Someone needs to exorcise Geet out of Drashti's system..!

Nice reviews and beautiful collages👏. Just enjoying the calm (romance ) before the storm .

Don't want any heart burns thinking of the future tracks. Have enough already in life.😆

My attention span for the desi shows are short so I don't know when I will stop watching. No complains for now .😊

The necklace was keep differing in each scene.

I loved Shwets VM on this scene..I felt RNJ and Gayatri were at two different levels..as different as a man and woman would be...Yes, this is a man writing these scenes..If this is ST, this is his best! . 👏

@ Sush,

Shwets VM has captured the different moods of the man and the woman perfectly.👏If you have time, do check out my reply there and see if you can feel what I felt. It doesn't feel rushed as of now. Though I agree that continuity is still a problem.

You know I was telling Shweta this, Chick...that last night's scene was a continuation of the dori scene in sense...it did not appear abrupt because their emotions were already on a boil...G decided to give a shot to seduction only because of what she saw in RNJ's eyes during the dori scene...and RNJ wanted to push boundaries further because he had already seen what his proximity did to her...

Shweta's VM works beautifully because she has seamlessly woven these two scenes together till they are almost like one...

In fact, the way they've scripted it, the entire RNJ - G relationship has been one continuum...I see it like that and I appreciate that the progress has been gradual and not sudden...at least that is the way I feel ...

Whoever the writer is, he/she needs applause...they have been making mistakes the flow has been jerky but somehow for me, the RNJ- G relationship has survived all of that...!

I have my own complaints but not about the romance...!

Same pinch...Some miracle that they managed to give a flow to RaGa romance, in spite of inefficiency in the other tracks.

I think we are just patient viewers, wiling to give a bit more in order to see progress at least in one quarter...if we were watching the show as critics, we would feel the void too.

We are fans of a love story...and fortunately we can shut our eyes to whatever lies outside that circle. The day they encroach on that circle...😡..I will not mince my words. 😈😆

First off, @Sush - thanks for making the post in spite of this not being one of your fav epis . Enjoy the break from it.
@Shwets - Thankyou, Thankyou & Thankyou for the collage with just Ranaji in it. More than being fida over the actual scene being played I am fida over your still shots. As @BertieWooster puts it ..."Maar daala"

Now for the actual epi. Other than the lightning speed at which they are going, its going really well for a hindi soap. The promos hinted at romance and they are dishing out just that. They are edited really bad at times (like the romance in the pyre back drop) and continuity is over looked once in a while but all that aside its a good soap. Yes, as viewers we really wish they would do a better job with such good actors. DD is just awesome and SK (I haven't seen any of his work except the airtel ad) is really good too. He really does RNG very well. For now I am just keeping my brain aside and enjoying the mushy scenes coz if there comes a time when there is too much drama, OTT-ness etc then there is always the remote. But I'll always check in here and read up on what you guys have to say

A few thoughts I had -

1) @Infofan - I agree abt the clasped hands behind his back when RM asked him to give G the jewels. The hesitation did convey to me too "How do I go in there again when I am hanging by a thread here "
2) The "jewelry" scene - I liked it and I loved the fact that the FL is bold (in spite of the era). Its quite refreshing to see a hindi soap like that. A girl with no prior experience and all her know-how' from books doing what she did. 😉 Just imagine what she would when she actually knows the rules of game. Too bad this is a hindi drama is all I can say.😃
And @BertieWooster - u say it best. The "game of one-upmanship" was just awesome. The "kingly yet affected" nod from RNJ and the "coy but take-that" look from RGD maintaining eye-contact was just mwah.
The best scene in that entire sequence for me was when she puts the necklace over his shoulder and he turns around with that look that was @shwets teaser (thx for that again) 😉

3) the car scene - it was fun banter 😆 The mayka this-that bit was a lil' OTT but like I said my brain is aside and I am looking at it from a pure entertainment angle for the few mins it plays out.

4) About the discussion on RNJ's clothes. Well, I am really looking forward to today's dhoti scene. So that says it all.😆
But seriously, I think he looks dapper in those suits with the bow-tie and dreamy in those white kurtas 😃

Yes PLEASE I felt that quite a few times since the beginning of the show. Don't recollect specific instances but quite a few. Don't know if a bit of that comes from her real life persona.

My take from thursday, friday and monday so its going to be all over the place😳

Did Ranaji got hurt now? 😲

That was my response after watching the show last night. The 180 degree turn in 3 days. From hating to caring is understandable but attraction and all😕. Is he really frustrated that he can be attracted to someone's beauty. He is pulling chair for his lady. In just 3 days he forgot that its the same table where he insulted her.

Well desi soap amnesia. What else.

If i don't consider the logic then that can be considered one of the good romantic scenes on small tv screen however something was missing. There was a disconnect at many levels. I for once was not able to connect to the leads. I know I am ajeeb when it comes to desi soaps; but looking at the anchor post I am not the only one😃 . Both leads were beautiful and acted well. DD was exceptional with her initiating the act. I so want to compare the shows but am limited here. The payal scene brings back the good time memory and I am not sure if any show can even come close to that scene.

I loved the little act on the table where he is trying to show her table manners. That communication with eyes was done wonderfully along with the dori tying scene.

I also loved the car banter. That was like a typical ranaji/rani scene. If they showed that little sequence of jwellery wearing as a dream it would had a big impact.

So today Raniji is going to dance at dola and help ranaji wear dhoti. Hisaab barabar😕
