I was thinking about this after last nights Episode. Yes we got to see a lot more of the leads though this branch in the storyline, yes Gayatri has become her own person in front of Rana. She's resolute in letting him know that he has wrongly accused her.
At every opportunity she gets she throws in her ill treatment and I get that but we can't stray away too much. Gayatri has to stop being the drama queen at some point and start getting Back to being queen to her people and her king.
I think she's confusing herself with the whole queen vs Patni, king vs husband. Atleast I'm confused!

Her insecurity of her husband wanting to end the relationship I get but he hasn't spoken of anything along those lines yet her mind is all over the place thinking she will be thrown away by him. That's a reassurance only Rana can give Gayatri. The loss of raj mata, swarna and the others has really changed the tone time to change it back I think.

She needs for clarity to emerge in her own personal life for her to take on other facets to her character! At least that is how I see it. The writers are clearly and deliberately focusing on a reconciliation between the leads for the moment! Everything else has taken a backseat!

I suppose this phase is required I'm a Inpatient viewer if I don't get signs of the progression I expect I start questioning .. But yes she is looking for clarity and it's something only Rana can provide her with. She misunderstands him that I'm sure and maybe the seeing a more fragile side of him will make her realise he's not all hard Rock ego and ambition he's as human as anyone.

@TM- Gayathri never wanted to be a queen, she is not interested in it.

She would rather risk her life playing Patni to save few bucks for her husband, than play the Queen.
She has always been clear about what she wanted from Ranaji, from their marriage.

I think, she will always play the wife when a conflict of her roles arises but Rana will play the King, when conflicted.

I'm wondering for the track to regain its momentum, RNJ needs to need Gayatri or keep being the mean but Kingly husband...
However, to create memories, the CVs need small scenarios which can be replayed back as FB...maybe that's what they are trying to create...a petulant, jovial Gayatri who might turn to become the regal Queen????

We don't know what brought the break down in the precap &as you say RNJ needs a cheerleader with a child's optimism, something that G can give him. I think he'll need her to be the King & for G that's part of her patni dharm, i would like the story to grow from there.

I think certain situations will change that if she cares for her husband she'll care for his success as a king, behind every man is a successful woman Gayatri is going to have to be the queen as well as the wife it's part of the parcel. The conflict is going to get to her like it would get to anyone in two contrasting roles.

Gosh...I hope the patni dharm thing comes to a conclusion soon...Everytime G sprouts out the patni dharm dialogue I'm totally flabbergasted
