Divorce was non-existent till 1955 for hindus (Hindu Marriage Act was enacted in 1955)

@ Wooster and Simran: Well, the tie-in with the attempted kidnap makes it more plausible!

I have to admit that, even if it is shown to have been carried out at the behest of the Queen Mother, it would still be better than to show the Queen's condition as a consequence of the not-so-venomous-snake-bite and the graze-the-arm shooting.

I also liked how Ranaji caught hold of the rope that held the chandelier and called out to an aide to hold it while he caught the swooning lady.

How many actors get a Haider or Queen? And for how long will those actors entertain you? 2 hours in one whole year.

What I meant is, the actors get more opportunities here in television. And we get to watch more of them. The content has def improved compared to 10 years back. (I am not talking about the glorious DD era.)

I didn't know you were talking about opportunities. I was talking strictly content which I feel is more progressive and diverse in Bollywood as a whole. Their are fewer genres here. I see period dramas, kitchen politics and love/hate stories. Occasionally there is a reporters on sony.

@olicity...since you are new...let me go over a few unwritten rules of Sushpectives, for your benefit and the benefit of all...

To post and take part in discussions on Sushpectives, you don't have to subscribe to a certain school of thought or opinion.
You don't have to like a particular actor...and it's equally ok if you like them a lot...
All discussions have to be done with a sincerity ...that means the purpose and tone can not be to rile up someone...but present your view in a respectful manner...
The courtesy is extended to the actors, and other people working on the show...while it is okay to have an opinion about their work...it is not free game to talk about any person associated with the show in a manner that is offensive if you were talking to a real person...

While I am open to all points of views and refrain from making an opinion just on assumptions...if at any point...I feel that a certain member is just there to rile up others and engage in unproductive discussions I reserve the right to ask the person to leave the thread...

With that in mind...please carry on...

For a change we are getting extreme mood swings FL rather than ML 😛

I dont mind this but their has to be good explanation behind her erratic behavior which their usually is for the moody MLs. And I still would like her to understand the concept of personal space.
