@faria parents can take tough decisions for the children, but not for upholding their image in the society.

If you really look RM keeping the deal with Gopal Seth without consulting her son was for upkeeping her image in the society, yes she had the well being of her son in the mind but the primary objective was image keeping.She knew very well what her son feel about his first wife.

Whereas Gopal Seth took the decision for this daughter after knowing her feelings for RNJ. He did what he could do, knowing fully well if the society knew Gopal Seth traded his daughter the reputation he has build over years will go down in front of everyone's eyes. He got his daughter what she wanted with his wealth , while RM sold her son for what she wants. He did the duty of a father, while RM exerted the right of Rajmatha. That's the difference between them.

Same applies to Damayanti too, she wants to be a good mother in front of society and for that she has to ensure her daughter adheres to the society standards. That means married etc etc..

If you look both Gayatri and RNJ are rebels in their own way. Gayatri also don't like image keeping, RNJ also to a extend doesn't like image keeping but his training is forcing him to do what he doesn't like. Both Gayatri and RNJ have a lot of shared values, which once they trust each other can bring forth a good transformation to Ameerkot in the positive manner.

RMs grey character stems from this image keeping. Self above others if a choice occurs. Whereas if you look at Gayatri if she loves someone it is others above self.

RM in a battle of head and heart chooses head , whereas Gayatri in a battle of head and heart chooses heart. Even RNJ is a person who chooses heart, but then he deliberately doesn't allow that now and that is what is making him illogical and confused at times.

Superb post Shruti. Rajmata was the star yesterday.
Haha kunwar ji seems to have an eye on RM 😆

What simran is saying, i want to put it like this. I think what RM did in the morning, they could have shown RM doing the same in night itself. Thus Ranaji realising his mistake n leaving palace then itself in night to search for Gayatri.
Along side they could have keep showing Gayatri in jungle, whatever they showed. No change was required there.

Just an alternative with slight changes. It looks better to me this way.

@Sam she couldn't have done what she did in the morning at night. Tea at night would have looked odd, but on hindsight she could have done something else.

She could have asked RNJ to wait outside a room and asked Ekanth with Kuwar chacha. Then arm twisted him the way she did with Kokila and got out the truth, which RNJ can listen and then immediately go for Gayatri.

But I guess they wanted TRP melodrama. All this snakes, dargah's, FL in mujhe bachao condition, ML coming to save, I think gives better TRPs. Actually I don't know how TRP works because I cant relate to one single top TRP rated show 😃

They never have an intelligent character like RM, they don't have a DIL who has a standing of her own, they never have a ML who is conflicted. They have some uncouth lady shouting at the top of the voice, doormat bahu and arm candy son. And I simply don't understand how people watch it. 😆😆😆

I am not asking to change anything abt FL situation.
Abt drink it was not necessary to mix that booti in tea. It could be any drink.
I just felt it would have looked better if RM started doing this at that time itself. Anyways leave it.

Haha TRP audience ko samjhna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai. Looking at current highest TRP shows, we can make out what kind of taste Indian audience has 🤢
Heard a Bhoot drama is coming up in YHM too (I dont watch the show though)
Hope makers of ETR2 dont get influenced by this nonsense.

Good post . Loved it. Bang on. Really rajmata stood tall and really gave it back to Rnj . It seems only she uses her brains in raj mahal. How lintellligently she puts two and two together and the ways she makes chcha blurt the truth..was really fab.. Loving Rajmatas character. I hope. At least now Rnj realises his mistake and won't have any prejudiced notions at Gayatri and rajmata as well. Hope he can see things clearly from now on. I also liked siddanths acting btw..some ppl complain he's too stiff but that's how he is at the moment, He's stiff does not want to come face to face with the reality tht Gayatri is indeed affecting him. Now slowly he will melt.. Pl guys give him some time. But I liked him in all scenes .. He brings out the emotions quiet well. But my favourite is RM. ..she is the only consistent character in the serial

I also like the comic vamps chacha chachi Adorable ... Aren't they and compliment each other very well and the way chcha calls her Kokile ... Is very funny,,... Loved chachas acting also yesterday.. Mazda aa Gaya...

@veritaserum anyone who have watched EHT will miss her yaar.Not only her every aspect of that soap because I have always felt we never had enough. And because of that I watch the dubbed version in Malayalam to understand how Sakshi made the historic blunder of Devga marriage and Durga's motive in deciding to marry Shaurya. And believe me in second sitting lot of aspects of the script is coming clearer.

If she truly cared for kingdom this much debt wouldn't have come, food grains wouldn't have rotted in the palace. And that image keeping is what gives her character the grey shade. She is not bad, but she loves her the most.

Sorry to intrude but what is a Manglik and why were people refusing to get their sons married to Gayatri, can you expand?

It was indeed flawless in every way. I just recently starting following this show. Did not start from episode 1 though. But i really like the atmosphere and lighting, the mood and the storyline also. And i so agree with a mother correcting her son for once. Its needed!

The problem with grey characters is that sometimes they react negative or extra angry in an unexpected moment. Which can be very enjoyable when done right.

But yes i would also love gayu and matha to stay awkwardly connected and close like this.

This woman has lived just for the kingdom. Its time she started caring for other things.
