That shooter was distracting! I suppose he is considered to b e a part of the ulloo clan!

Rana- Gayatri: Looked like the equation is getting clearer. Gayatri will stay blind, because Ranaji is never going to tell her the truth. Especially not after she saves his life and everyone applauds her..so much so for the bad omen the ulloo clan queen created.😛😆

I loved the way they showed her face- on the hand mirror, moving the kunkum aside...😳

Ranaji's hatred...I guess very soon he will have to surrender that too under the ehsaan of having his life saved. Poor Ranaji- Baap aur beti dono ke ehsaan ke tale dab jaayega.😆 Very soon, he'd be saying- mujhpe yeh ehsaan karna, ki mujhpe koi ehsaan mat karna!😉

How undemanding Gayatri is! All she asked for was permission to remember him in her heart, and he brought her to his palace. It looks like Gayatri will not ask for anything more. And since she is not seeking anything more, she will not find the truth behind her wedding...for quite some time. She will play the dutiful wife and servant to the Ranaji she is in awe of,..I wonder when Ranaji will realise she has become second nature to him.

Loved Gayatri shouting 'woh rehi'..and reprimand self, the very next second.

Ranaji has some passionate memories... I do appreciate the fact he is a passionate man. 😆

I do hope Ranaji is going to stand aside silently and critically observe Gayatri blooming as the People's Queen.

Somewhere, I am strongly reminded of JA too..the movie...probably the part where Akbar learns to respect his queen and gets to know her more.

I got to watch the river rescue scene- I found it really sweet that Gayatri pushed Ranaji away gently before he could give her the mouth-to-mouth.😊 I did think Ranaji would reflect on her introduction as a lie later on, and so he did.

That shooter act was really comical...😆

I am not expecting RNJ to warm up to Gayatri soon...life saving act aside...This is a desi soap ...if things happened that quickly...it wouldn't be a soap...😃

RNJs bedroom scenes with his first wife are feeling annoying to me ...😕

Gayatri...came across as too eager in yesterday's episode...which is a behavior that is frowned upon in royal circles...I think we will see more of the "cultural" differences playing out...glad dadi is going to be there to counter some of the pressure Gayatri will be under...

1) it's 1945. quit India Movement was at peak in 1942. in 1945-46-47, INA trial, RIN mutiny, partition, integration of India were main focus.
2.) Independence movements were limited to british India only. People from the princely states that is these small kingdoms hardly participated.

they can show it outside Ameerkot boundaries but inside, it will be distorting the history.

After marriage i think main focus should be shifted to integration to India that will mean that Ranaji will lose the kingdom.

Very valid point.👏

I didn't know the year was specified. I am not a history person, really. But I do know that there were underlying currents in some princely states at least. The only ones that escaped were probably the ones in Rajasthan. Here we find the British mocking the king and implementing the tax system...enough to make the local crowd go against them...and in this case, with a non- lenient and spendthrift Rajmata, it wouldn't take much to light up a fire.

A few creative liberties will be taken, I guess...I think someone already mentioned the availability of 'bombs' with the 'aathankvaadi'.

We have no idea whether this couple will actually survive the struggle for independence. If they do, Ranaji would only be happy to part with his wealth or whatever remains of it...as such, I guess Gayatri's dad is any day richer than the king himself.😉 That Brit Rep did put down Ranaji, saying he was just a puppet king or something to that effect.

My idea was that Gayatri and Ranaji would support the freedom fighters, for the greater good of their people. Whether they'd be in it together, or one will follow the other...so many possibilities there too. Let us see.

The Royal family of Jaipur did manage to keep some part of their wealth post independence? I guess Gayatri's name was inspired by Maharani Gayatri Devi- one of the most loved monarchs/ ex- monarchs.

I actually appreciated the fact that they were not trivialising Ranaji's first marriage. He was very much married and in love...that is an important aspect of his life. I caught a scene in the recap of one of the early episodes where Ranaji muses over how death would never bless him yet, with an end to his suffering...I found that very endearing. Some people just cannot move on. What would cause such people to finally move on? Sulakshna is very much a part of Ranaji- will always be his first and very much loved wife...but she is no more. How realistically will Ranaji and Gayatri deal with this reality that is never going to go away?

The ring- Definitely must be a heirloom..handed down from one queen to the other- guess it cannot be avoided that it has to go to Gayatri by right.

I am not expecting RNJ to warm up either...this Rescue act is one of the tools to prevent Ranaji from telling Gayatri his true feelings. Down the line when viewers are frustrated as to why he didn't tell her before the wedding, we have our answer.😉 Try, he did..but the ehsaan made him shut his mouth...He can only be cold to her after that- the perfect gentleman. Poor Gayatri is going to go on worshipping that perfect gentleman.

I feel Rajmaata will be the one protecting Gayatri the initial days. She has to make sure Gayatri doesn't go telling tales to her father. In the face of a disinterested son, the mother will have to make her DIL feel at home.

Sush,

Don't have high hopes on Dadi Rani Maa yet..looks like her first impression of Gaytri will be the same as what her beloved pauta feels right now. They showed a spoiler of her by Rani Ma's caravan( ), looking drunk and the old lady didn't look very impressed.😕

Coming to think of it, why would she approve of Gayatri! After all whose idea was this alliance?😳

Chick seriously mujpe yeh ehsaan rofl.

The ring just being found some 15 ft away 😲 it's a ring with big stone and they want us to believe it can travel so far on carpet😛

Just liked fathers confidence on Gayatri when he gave back to kuwarji.

Rest dd was fab Nd her eyes were as expressive as her heart.👏

And raj mata wants to train Gayatri 😲 meaning Gaya bhes pain mein😆

And they had flashback yet Again. 😲
When audience wants love scenes with leads it's not shown and here we have nothing but love scenes from previous wedding🤢

Comedy circus- 😆- Yes, Bhavi.😆

DD was good- I liked Sid too. Actually one of the bytes, he was complimenting how DD is a one- take artist.😊

Rajmaata will be desperate to prove 'Yehi hai right choice, baby!'😆 Right now, the only person in the entire Rajmahal who agrees with her is the Raj purohit, it seems.😉

Bhavi,
Love scenes from past- Trailer dikha rahe hai, hopefully.😉

Seriously- I wonder what all issues this guy will have when he realises he has fallen for Gayatri!🤔
If he feels he cheated his wife by marrying again, how would he justify falling in love again! 😲

Soup, I too dont want them to trivialize the first wedding, remember her by all means...be faithful, have a difficult time moving on...all that is good...but...seriously...do all his memories need to relate to the bed room...😲😆!
Hmmm...at least they'd have an explanation on why he didnt confront her before the wedding...lets see how that plays out...
Logical ...if Rajmata is on her side...dadi will probably not be...So dadi is tough in the beginning and the she breaks into dadi's heart first before breaking into his?
I am going to wait and see what kind of "gentleman" RNJ is after marriage...Dont want to give up hope...but yesterday wrist holding was disappointing behavior... At least one thing the English did well...to not physically hurt their ladies even when they were upset...He can be resistant, aloof, cold, angry, feel cheated, manipulated, annoyed...I am open to all that, I understand and empathize...but please do not physically hurt the girl...thats conduct unbecoming of a prince!
