I guess Gayatri's above dialogue to her family says it all ⭐️ ..She is not someone to bow down in front of her family out of pressure or emotional blackmailing .. She knows how to fight back and counter attack the points which r not valid according to her 👍🏼 ; I truely salute Gayatri's fighting spirit in front of her family today 👏👏...Each one of them except her father went against her and left no stone unturned to make her feel like an unwanted baggage in the house ;Whether its her brothers or bhabhis or her own mother , each one of them called her apshaguni , bojh and what not just to make her say yes for that old guy's rishta , but Gayatri still dint give up and kept fighting for her rights 👏👏 .. Yesterday I thought she might bow down in front of her mother's emotional blackmailing today itself but woww Gayatri once again impressed me with her fighting spirit 👏👏; She knew that she is fighting a lonely battle here and mayb after a point even her father will join that herd mentality of his wife , sons and bahus , even then she kept fighting all alone trying to put across her POV regarding how marrying that old man will ruin her future and not secure it 👍🏼 ;
Gayatri boldly confesses to her brothers and bhabhis that mayb dreaming big was her mistake but in the name of compromise marrying someone who is even elder than her own father is nothing but suicidal and as a woman she chooses not to commit this suicide ... I applaud her once again for her guts especially when all her brothers and bhabhis came in a herd to attack and blame her for rejecting the proposal .. She still stood strong and kept her points regarding the rishta .. For once we hv a female lead who just does not give up or shed tears but knows how to fight back too 👍🏼..
When she could not convince her bhaiyya-bhabhis , she came to meet her mother once again with a last hope that mayb she will understand her daughter but sighhh her mother too disappointed her by calling her a Bojh for this house ; I can understand that her mother feels worried thinking post their death , where will Gayatri go since her bhaiyya-bhabhis will obviously not keep her in the house ; Even today her elder bhaiyya almost told her that this is not her house , so well ; So her mother's worry here is understandable as she wants Gayatri to hv her own house and a husband's name so that at least she can live without any fear of being homeless post her parent's death but her mother need to realise that Gayatri is not one of those girls who will compromise with her fate and just live her life with a husband's name even if she does not get her husband's love because she is different and her thinking is much ahead of those times .. She will instead prefer taking up a job and become Saraswati of her own house who wont b financially dependent on anyone but instead will provide financial help to her family ...
Devi Saraswati too stayed unmarried but even today we do Saraswati puja and consider her the Goddess of knowledge ...So its a big misconception that girls hv no future without marriage ... Today we girls know its not true as we r mostly professionals in our own life and mayb financially independent too but those days Girls were suppose to remain in closed corridoors only and its like they were born to marry and bring dowry to their sasural .. But since Gayatri is much ahead of her times , so she protests against this belief and prefers being Saraswati for her family than become Devi Lakshmi(Goddess of wealth) for that worthless old dude's family ..
Marriage should b done by choice and not by force , something which Gayatri believed in 👍🏼..Yes marriage is important for every girl as well as boy .. But marriage should not become a means to sell off your daughters in the name of honour or bad omen ...So I m glad Gayatri decides to take a stand and mayb look out for a job so that she can b financially independent and take her own decisions ...
Though I know tomorrow she will b forced to take back her decision and agree for the marriage since her mother's emotional blackmailing will continue and might go to extreme which will finally result in Gayatri bowing down ... sighh 😭😭...
